how does a doctor test how much testosterone your body produces on its own? can any doctor do this?

By doing a blood test and comparing the findings against records of people in you age / height / weight range. I guess.
Had mine done recently, liver enzymes the lot.

Any doc can write an order for blood work, but will they is the real question.

the doctor doesnt usually do the test himself...he just reads the results that the lab tests...the doctor usually sends you to a lab and then he gets the results back...but some docs have the testing equip on site, however.
and any doc can order the test
