on Page 199:
"... receptor numbers on pituitary somatotropes (7,59). Thyroid hormone facilitates binding of GHRH to its receptor. GH secretion is reduced in hypothyroid subjects following ..."' on Page 200 "Gh synthesis rather then secretion is appears to be impaired in hypothyroidism"
So does this mean that those with hypothyroidism -like myself- could need gh supplementation and thus get prescribed thus by their endocrinologist? I myself have skin issues that have not been treated with the thyroid meds (T4) alone and this could be the solution?!
