about to start trt

got the labcorp results and went over them with the pcp. i already knew it was low. had been tested a couple times before. tried androgel and androderm before and had allergic reaction on skin. got mind set for wkly injections. pcp doc is cool, no probs letting me self inject so i dont have to come in every wk. jumping through bs hoops with aetna to get injectible through their mail pharmacy. prob be less hassle and cheaper to get from alternate source.lol.

posting numbers below but had a question. have seen a urologist before that wouldn't let me self inj. wondering what your experience is with endos and urol allowing you to do it so you don't have to go to the doc every wk. If I have an estrogen prob or sides I thought I should have a specialist on hand. pcp doesn't have any knowledge of letro or other inhibitors but i'd like to stay with him.

bunch of other things i dont understand but all normal.

script for 200 per wk inj. labs in 2 months. after some reading i'll prob do 200 up front and take 150 once a week. see how that goes.

I would almost bet that after a few month of fiddling with you injections that 200 will not be needed and 150 or less a pop would be fine as you planned as well.

na, Aetna is making me go through the "aetna mail order pharmacy" . apparantly you have to do that for all inj drugs. im pretty annoyed. just a delay in getting started.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield here... I get my testosterone cyp from CVS pharmacy... I get generic - sandoz (LSD inventor) is the manufacturer of it. 1 bottle was supposed to be a 3 month supply but doctor wants me to come in to discuss increasing the dose, but I cant get in as I just changed jobs and have to wait for my cobra papers to come so I can get insurance restarted. Good news is Obama's stimulis includes the govt picking up 65% of cobra plan health insurance costs so it will help me get thru the 6 month insurance waiting period at new employer. Copay at BCBS is $19.

On that 200 to 150 mg per week, WOW thats body builder, high estrogen, high cholesterol stuff... 90% of HRT/TRT starts you out at 100 mg every 2 weeks and ends up settling on 75 mg a week or 150 mg every 2 weeks. You have to remember this is pharmacy grade testosterone, not some underground lab or mexican underdosed stuff that takes 2 CC's just to equal out to 190 mg (even though bottle claims its 250 mg a CC). You will get much more intense testosterone effects off 1 CC pharmacy grade then you do with twice as much mexican or underground lab in my real life experience. 100 mg every 2 week of real stuff actually supports very good muscle gain so you cannot compare to what you read over in the steroid abuser's forums to what you see in the real TRT/HRT world.

Your estrogen/estrodiol is very high in relation to your testosterone. I am suprised the doctor didnt suspect you arent in a bad PCT because it either looks like the estrogen is continuing to supress testosterone production in post cycle or else you have something else going on in your body causes excessive estrogen conversion of your testosterone. A normal testosterone/estrogen ratio is 10:1, you are what 5:1 and that means the estrogen is the cause of your testosterone inhibition. The LH also actually is decent meaning the test should be higher as a result.

never did any cycles, never really lifted that much either. had issues with this since high school and could never gain. just lost interest. doc is my pcp though. he prob wouldn't know about estrogen conversion. i might try to get some arimidex to go with the test. beleive me though, i could use some muscle building effect bad. i could hold some back and do mini cycle.lol
in any case, I am still trying to get the script filled. what a bitch.

have you checked out Liquidex? i'm on compounded anastrozole but after this dose is used up i'm going to try Liquidex.

you may be surprised how fast you'll get those mail order meds...you'll be jabbin soon...only thing bad is ...like was said....1 vial is enough for several months where when picking up meds usually it can be refilled every month if refills are on the prescription

finally! got it friday. 10 days of bs, then they overnighted it. damn mail order pharm broke up my script in to 4 mini vials of 200mg each. only have 28day supply. upside is that i had a zero co-pay. 10cc vial was going to be 113.00 at wally world. i wondered if it was worth it to just pay out of pocket to get the two month supply, and be able to hoard a little.

supposed to go to nurse for first injection but went ahead and self jabbed last night. took two pokes, first was a real sissy plunge. scared of the needle, didn't even break skin.lol

now need to get pcp to perscribe a-dex, as it looks like I have good potential to convert to estrogen.

hope you dont have a prob getting a'dex...real good you have insurance for that shiat....AINT CHEAP...i'm running a bit low from my hoarding days...i had about 7-9 bottles of pharm grade 'dex at one time...down to 1 1/2...

Just go nice and slow I have found that other then the intial pop from breaking the skin I feel nothing.

i draw with 20g 1" and inject in the quad with 25g 1"...works very well!

well the 25ga needles for the inject took care of that problem. took longer to get it in.

first wk 200mg inject noticed no improvement. maybe felt worse. 1wk in, did a 100mg inject and took first .5 a-dex. havent decided if I should quarter it for eod, or take .5 2-x a week. feel lousy. tired as hell. 2nd inj and adex were friday night.

i got bent over on the adex. i read somewhere in here it was about 5$ a pill for pharm grade, but got the bill for 15 pills @ wally world pharm and it was $200.00, wtf?? insurance paid a solid $40.00 so i was in for 160.00

got to find an alternative. how are letro and aromasin as far as pharmacy cost? I was concerned about letro knockin estrogen down to nothing but maybe that can be handled with dosage. maybe i need to knock it down to nothing for a while. feel shitty.

give Liquidex a shot. it's only $60/bottle and should last at least 6 months.
