Can Test gel for replacement Hormone therapy be used for body building?

Ok, I had erection probs....no energy...trouble sleeping...My doc did a test level test, mine was like 187, probably from age and doing roids when I was younger....

Now, my erections are like 95% of when I was 18...I'm sleeping better, deeper...my emotional disposition is better...

I do like 4 pumps a day on my gel....what if I increased this double? Would it be like a roid cycle? Would I see results?

I was power lifting in college and did sostenon's, deca , win, etc and went (after an accident) from 180 to 260, settled in at 230, over about 2 years...my normal weight was about 210....

I'm 43, so, just wondering how safe, effective, etc....thought I might increase for a while...

Also, I was taking DHEA before the gel and along with the twin labs 'male health formula' and had alot better erections...

what happens if I keep taking DHEA?

you are not getting anywhere near enough Test in the gel as you do with injections.

You would have to fill your tub up and swim in it everyday to get the same dose as a bodybuilding cycle.

assuming your doc prescribed this too you as its hrt, do you not have periodic blood tests? i ask because im a hrt patient that takes androgel and my endo requires me to get blood tests roughly every 3-4 months, if you doubled up he would know, not to mention the prescription issue.

i thought androgel was prescribed so widely because it keeps your levels consistent? so my endo says at least

From what I have read androgel works well because it mimics the natural pattern of testosterone release. High in the morning, lower as the day progresses. Injections leave you with a much more stable level because of the ester.

I also read and it seems to make sense that androgel gives you a testosterone release pattern of a young man and injections the one of an old man (in higher dosages of course).

I used testogel for a couple of months, I started with 50mg/day and not too much improvements , so I switched to 100mg/day and I felt better .
Good thing about gel is that it gives less estrogen issues than vials , bad less effect as well.
