I didnt do blood work at his office. I did it at my family dr.
He didnt say when I would have to do blood work.I thought it was crazy. He said he does not write out scipts. So he gave me a shot of 400mg cyp and 3 loaded syringes. Told me to come back every 4 weeks for more test. For the test and visit it will be $116 every 4 weeks. Hell I was so excited I didnt even ask about an AI or a SERM.

Are you going to take an AI or wait until a follow up visit? I would think 400mgs/week might get your estrogen up there.

Didnt read all the posts... My doc gives me 200mg depo-testosterone (test cyp) once a month because of my low free test level(57) cant imagine a doc giving out 400mg a week unless its one of those HT clinics in FL or wherever else they are...

Well I 2cc(400mg) in the ass in the office. And he sent me home with 3 preloaded syringes all of which have 400mg each.

I thought surly it was 200mg ,But he even put on each one 400mg test cyp

IF you truly want TRT, then I would stock up on the test he is giving you and just shoot 200/week then you will have plenty when you want to run a cycle. Tell him you want to just shoot it at home so you don't have to come in for office visits every week

You need to tell your dr that 50mg of test a week is lower that a health man produces naturally in a week and he is waisting you money . Not to mention your time.

Same dosage that my co-workers husband was put on! I feel for him because he is going to crash in a few weeks and go from that first HRT high we all get to crashing.

I have 3 syringes I could take them down to 200mg each and save the rests. I just dont like the idea Of bouncing around on dosages

its going to be what 6 weeks before he retest? Hell treat it like a mini cutting cycles I guess.
I say that because rite now I am on 400mg a week of test as well granted not per my script mind you.
Going from low to the way I feel now I will say be careful you do not try to strap on a cap and jump off your roof superman style because it feels awesome!!!

I feel you 100%. This is a subject that can get a dr in trouble. I just got lucky. And he didnt mess around. He said injectable is the only eay to go.Told me he was not going to put me on a rollercoster. He said he was going to get me back to where I need to be.

Honestly......I would be suspicious of your Doc's credentials. 400mg a week is way too much for TRT! That would push your Test above 1000 and I don't believe a reputable Doc would recommend such high levels for an extended period. Most Doc's would have you come to them for EVERY injection just to control the injection process.
If this were me, I would inject 200mg per week for the next few weeks and have my levels checked at that point. If 200mg doesn't get you where you want to be on TRT, you can always adjust up. If it does, save the excess for a real cycle.

I'm on 200mg EOW to start - I don't have anything yet. First bloodwork will tell the tale. At 400mg EW I would be shocked if you didn't have some kind of problem with your levels that would drag you down.

Right now I'm on one shot every other week. Right now I'm not on anything. If I get bumped to every week like I'm hoping I'll be able to tell you more.
