    Just got test results

Although these are in the "normal reference range" would you consider these low and worth pursuing TRT. Total testerone while not that inpressive isnt on overly horrible, but my free is about as low as you can get and still be on the chart. (39 years old)

    Testosterone 455 (range 241 - 827)
    Free Testosterone 9.9 (range 8.7 - 25.1)

Some symptoms of low test. Libido seems fine (although not what is was 10 years ago im sure).

I have very early stages of osteopenia (bone loss) which can be associated with low testosterone levels when present in men

Cholestorol in normal range but have very low HDL levels (another effect sometimes associated with low test levels).

Strength probably the most noticeable decrease ive ever had over the past 5 years.

Your free testosterone is low. In range but low. The 455 number is what most doctors I know of go by. It's in range and moderate. Unfortunately I don't think you're a shoe in for TRT. Might take some convincing by you to get a doc to let you try. Then again I may be wrong and a doctor may look at your free number and start the script writing. It's just been my experience that your 455 number is what they go by. If you really want to try it, 455 at 39 is probably your average number. Strength loss by itself will probably not be a deciding factor.

My level was 263 and I got put on the test shots. Honestly for 39 years old you are probably in the upper range.
My doctor basically told me if my test levels would have been near 400 she would have just let me be.
But being 39 you might be able to tell them you think you would feel better if you had higher levels. It is low enough where you might get some help but I would guess you will get Androgel or Transdermal patches at those numbers.
