    Latest Bloodwork

    just got my blood results from the following protocol:

    Daily50mg Zinc
    50mg DHEA
    5000iu Vit D
    Multi-Vit Pack

    Weekly
    Mon - 70mg T Cyp + .5mg Arimidex
    Thu - 70mg T Cyp + .5mg Arimidex + 1,000iu B-12 Injectable

    NOTE: i'm currently using 27g - 5/8" needle to inject T in my shoulders.

    blood draw was on monday morning before any food or meds.

    Blood Results:

    Total T = 1251 (250-1100)
    %Free T = 2.34 (1.5-2.2)
    Free T = 292.3 (35.0-155.0)
    E2 = 17 (8-43)
    DHT = 79 (25-75)
    DHEA = 459 (95-530)
    IGF-I = 241 (91-246)
    PSA = 1.0 (<4.1)

    my doc likes my numbers and wants me to hold steady on this protocol. i'm having great workouts and getting strong but i still have to adjust the adex dose depending on symptoms.

    the usual symptoms you get with high of low E2 (i.e. libido, ED, anxiety, etc...)

    my doc said it's very common for patients to adjust their aderx dose accordingly. i think splitting my shots help keep T stabil which in turn keeps E2 stabil and easier to regulate. if i feel like my E2 is a little high i just take a .25mg of adex and a day or two later i'm good. mostly monitoring nocturnal erections. i normally get a morning chub right before waking even if i'm a little off but the ones i monitor are the ones that wake me up in the middle of the night and almost hurt.

    not that i know of. i don't have any symptoms. he's going to run a full panel next time. he doesn't check everything because BCBS won't pay for a full panel each time.

    we had a long talk about T numbers and the method they use to determine ranges. it was pretty interesting and i'll share that later. he agrees that the lab range for T is a reference only and doesn't mind me being as high as 1500, providing i don't have any negative symptoms that is.

    from his experience most guys do well on the higher levels. right now my numbers look good and it doesn't look like alot of T is being converted to E@ or DHT. if you have a high conversion and you take alot of adex to keep E2 down it will just dump to DHT and then you have to add a med to keep that down. this is a good sign that your body doesn't like the high level of T and it needs to be decreased.

    when i was on 200mg/week i was taking .5mg of adex 2x/week to keep my E2 down and my DHT was high at 150. i'm sure if would have been better if i split the shots up but it looks like 140mg (2x 70mg) is a good does for me.

    i'm feeling good and i'm making nice gains at the gym which is a plus.

    from what i understand high DHT can obviously cause hair loss but also libido/ED issues along with prostate problems.

    right now mine isn't too high and i'm sure dropping down to 120mg/week would lower it but he doesn't feel it's anything to be concerned about.

    there shouldn't be any reason why DHT should be a problem as long as i don't increase my T dosage. 140mg/week seems to be my max dose while keeping other hormones in balance.

    interesting...i was feeling libido slipping after being on 125mg of test ew and .25mg arimidex eod (actually 1mg for the whole week)....
    so i bumped the test to 200mg and kept the 'dex the same and libido back up again pardon the pun...
    i wonder if taking flomax would be more harm than good for any peein/prostate enlargement? dont know a whole lot about the drug other than it is supposed to relax the muscle around the prostate or shrink it to ease urination
