    Timing blood work

Hi guys. I'm going to be going for bloodwork soon, and my doc says I shouldn't do anything for 7-10 days prior to the blood draw. My current protocol is:
    200 mg Cyp/ week
    500 units HCG 2x/week
    0.5 Adex 2x / week

I've also been taking 50 mg of winstrol every day for the past three weeks and will finish that in about 10 days.

I'm curious as to whether it's standard practice to wait for a week before having bloodwork done. It seems like the goal of the test would be to see where the TRT puts my levels. Wouldn't those levels be decreased if I wait before having the blood work done?

    Don't know if it matters, but I'm 42, 5' 11", 197 lb @ 19% BF.

I had BW on 200 mg every two weeks. Had BW the day before a scheduled injection and my total test had dropped to 260 by then (free T was below the normal range). Perhaps do it the day of your next sched injection but before giving yourself the shot. This will give you your weekly low. I suppose it would be good to get the weekly high also (2 or 3 days after a shot). Linearly interpolate to get the weekly avg

getting the peak and trough would be ideal...

sounds like an anti aging clinic they may have a good reason for wanted the test done when they asked...i dont see an advantage for doing blood work when we're at peak levels...makes more sense to me to test it during the median levels...although i would like to test more often and see all the levels as discussed above if i had to chose one time to test i would agree with the clinic...just my .02....did you ask them the same question?

They just said that if I get the blood draw taken too soon after injection that it would "affect the levels". They also have me on 250 iu of HCG 2x/week and 0.5 adex 2x/week, but I've recently been experiencing some problems maintaining erections. I explained this problem elsewhere on this site and it was suggested that I up the adex to 0.5 eod, and ditch the HCG alltogether. I've been told the winstrol isn't helping either, as it suppresses natural production.

In another posts I asked if I should up my testosterone intake over the next week or two in order to offset the remaining week's worth of winny, but nobody responded. What do you think?

your currently protocol is on the heavy side. most people are on litterally half what you're taking but this needs to be confirmed with bloodwork. you're feeling the symptoms of something being off.

if i were you i would drop the winny at least until you get things figured out. just trying to get T, HCG and adex set is a major task.

the goal is to get your T levels elevated close to the top of the range without converting alot of it to E2.

Thanks Dave. I only have a few doses of winny left, so I'll finish that up and let things settle down for a couple of weeks before getting some bloodwork done.

I was on 100mg/week of Test for a couple of months but it didn't raise my levels enough, so the doctor upped it to 200 then started me on HCG. I haven't had any bloodwork since though so I can only guess where my levels are now. Thanks again for the help. I'll keep you posted.
