I'm 21 years old and recently got a blood test (I got the blood test because I have been ED and urinary issues, turns out I have Prostatitis, but that's another story)
My total testosterone was 417 ng/dl. The sheet with the results said nothing about LH or free testosterone.
I know that I produce sperm because I applied to be a sperm donor a year ago to get extra money. I got rejected (as do 90 percent of applicants) but they said my sperm count was fine. The reason for rejection was because motility was a little on the low side, because of that I couldn't be a donor. This leads me to believe that the problem isn't with my testicles but the pituitary gland(s). I plan to continue seeing my urologist again after the christmas break (i'm out of town) and asking him about my options with TRT.
Thing is, I don't want to go on TRT without HCG (I prefer not to be sterile) and I fear that's what my doc opt for.
So to cut to the chase ...
If my doctor (and other doctors ... I can shop) does not offer a treatment that won't leave me sterile what is your opinion of self-medicating with hcg (and maybe clomid) alone?
I have never cycled before, I don't care about massive gains at the gym (though I do work out), I just want to get my levels up to around 700. I look way too young for my age, can't grow much facial hair, and don't build muscle easily.
Also, does anyone know where (or if) I could get blood tests other from than my urologist. I would like a more extensive one.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
