HRT Clinic
Any information, positive, or negative, about a clinic called NSI (Nationwide Synergy Inc) out of West Palm Beach Florida?
They promote themselves as HRT specialists.

I have had a few discussions with one of their reps. Seems like a nice guy. They also have a clinic in Pasadena now. Last I heard its $250 for a consult/bloodwork with a one day turnaround.

I talked to someone there too - you have to travel to FL to visit the Dr. for a physical and blood work.

Probably a gentleman named Mike Magnetti. He appears to be the sales and marketing guy. Yes he does appear to be a nice guy. He also appears to be well informed.
He promotes the clinic as being one of the first in Florida. I did a search to see if i could find any negative publicity, but did not find any. Unless i hear otherwise, i will probably will visit the clinic next week.
Since the consultation and blood work is a one time fee, i can use it as a springboard for a better understanding of HRT and the meds involved. They also told me i could leave with script and a travel letter for international customs.

The guy I have spoke with is named Bo, yes you do have to make an in person appearance and you can leave with meds is what I have been told. You will not have a script that you can fill whereever it is you call home, their in house pharmacy does all refills. You also have to go back at least annually for them to keep you as a patient.

There are plenty of clinics around just pick one close to you. I do have a few friends that live in Florida that do use that clinic with good progress.

Bo... Must be the same place. A distinctly Southern name.
I don't have a lot of patience when it comes to research. I did however, google
HRT from a number of different angles. I was surprised at the scarcity of clinic information.
Is it unusual for doctors to only write prescriptions that must be filled through their own pharmacy?

Yeah, that's one of the issues I have with some of the clinics, they lock you in a deal where you have to get the meds from their pharmacy. That's OK from a business standpoint if things are maybe somewhat fair and equitable, but the problem is it isn't ... They bend you over without any lube! In some cases, you'll pay 3x or more for meds than what you would pay through your own pharmacy. This issue will adjust as more smaller independents start popping up, who don't impose conditional terms on where you buy your meds.

The used to be called Palm Beach Rejuvenation. Changed the name and their doctor after some "issues". A little too pricey for me too.

My impression was that the reference to Pasadena, was California, not Texas. Interesting the doctor and name change. They now promote their doctor as one of the pioneers in HRT. If i am not mistaken, the Doctors name is Fry.
Yes it does sound expensive. The initial bloodwork and consultation will hopefully
point me in the right direction. That cost as pointed out is $250.
There is a question of flying with meds. I am told there has never been a problem, and that they supply a travel letter. I don't know how that applies to international travel, but i will find out soon .

I would guess that people a lot of people have travel with meds - if you have the proper paperwork you should be fine. I'm sure you can do some research online to find out what the TSA needs as far as documentation. Good luck!

Up and Up
This clinic is on the up and up. Priced better than most. PM me with questions or for a referral.
TSA will not hassel you over pins or vials.

I travel all the time and i have the drug store put it in a pill bottle with a label on it and keep it in my pocket so the luggage rats dont get it.when i go thru TSA I just put the pill bottle in the basket and roll on. No questions asked cause its prescribed just like the little old ladys oxy she got from her florida DR. and her hammer roid cream(get it..Ouch) from her new york DR.Oh I always have mine put in a pill bottle cause its more sanitary that way..

I stopped using them because they force you to buy other stuff. Everything is combo package.
My current place is mail order and you can send in labs and do dr visits in all over the country and are not forced to buy multiple items. For instance you can use ar-r to get anti-e's. They even give a price list up front.
email me at duraktrt at gmail dot com and I will send you the price list they sent me.
