    Got blood work done

    Test Total: 404ng/dL range: 280-800
    Test Free: 7.7pg/mL Range: 9.3-26.5<---ouch!

    Estradiol: 35.5pg/mL Range: 7.6-42.6
    Cortisol: 15ug/dL Range: 2.3-19.4
    IGF-1: 168ng/mL Range: 117-329
    DHEA-S: 273.3ug/dL Range: 160-449
    TSH: 1.800uIU/mL Range: .450-4.500
    T4 (free): 1.63ng/dL Range: .82-1.77
    T3: 118ng/dL Range: 71-180

So how do I approach a doctor with this? Blood work was called in by a family friend who is a md but he's in osteopathics. Hard to get a test script from him I found a study win a sample size of 354 25-29yr old males who were avg 660's total test I was going to help for ammo. Some say total test is normal but I feel for age group it's low. I just turned 29. Free test is extremely low. I didn't get shbg done wished I would have to see the number, my estradiol is up there too.

tell the doc the symptoms your dealing with and that it must be due to these numbers...btw, i had a pain doc that was seeing me for an auto accident write me a rx for test so if a doc wants to (your friend) dont matter wut the field is he can write it...now if he knows or suspects steroid abuse thats a diff thing

I am not suggesting this, but if I were you I might try an AI first to see if you can stop the conversion of t ot e and get your free numbers up. You might also ask for an SHBG result on your next blood work. Free t means everything and if you can get it up (something is taking it) without going on trt, then you are much better off.

My E2 was high as well when I first started trt, and after educating myself I always wished I had tried the AI alone first. I was also overweight and that contributed to the aromitization.

Good luck wither way you go.

in my limited experience its going to depend on the doctor you go to..

some docs are aware of symptoms of low test and willing to help adjust others aren't...

I went to one doc and my test was 200 .. he said as long as its "in range" its fine...

went to another doc later and mentioned it.. he had me retake the blood tests and put me on test immediately...
