    optimal test level?

my younger brother did a pro-hormone cycle of SD for a month without telling me, he's 18 and has a bright future in basketball (college level of course) but im trying to get him to do a blood test but the doctor's claiming he's fine even thoug hhe hast done a pct which im buying nolva and such from an online pharm (there legit) after much arguing she finally sent him to get blood work but not hormonal! wtf i wanna punch this doctor in the face the only testing was total test levels and it was 421, the rest was liver, choles, lime test blah blah

is 421 good for an athletic 18 year old?

guys I didn't say that nobody could be ok at 421.... but I think anyone would say that 421 isn't a normal level for a 18 year old... the normal ranges according to most are 200-800..... obviously, the younger guys are the ones at the top of the range (800) and the older ones are at the bottom.

I am 48 years old and my test is about 440..... and I on TRT to get close to 800.. why??? So I can hopefully feel and look at little better... like when I as 18-25 years old.

Normal is different for everybody, but that is pretty low especially for an 18 year old... Ask him if he's getting morning wood on a daily basis, that's a pretty good indicator of proper test levels. Also, how's his moods, his complexion, his overall health? 400s might be an ideal range for him even if it has him in the lowest quartile. But some 18 year olds are well over 1000 naturally.

If his doctor aint gonna take care of it, take him to one of those anti-aging clinics. They often give a comprehensive blood test for free on the first visit. I probably wouldn't want them treating an 18 year old unless they HAD to, but you might be able to get some bloodwork done. Also ask your doc to give you a copy of the bloodwork you got done so you can take it in to the AA doc

I personally haven't seen any clinics out there that will touch a guy if he's under 35 ... But, maybe there are a few that I don't know about.

I'm 33, on to my 2nd out of 2 trt clinics, both treated me with no problems. I guess my personal experience might have me thinking its easier than it really is. Small sample set I guess, probably gave me a skewed sense of reality. Don't get me wrong I believe you 100%, it makes sense. Just saying, it hasn't been my personal experience.
