left-over gel - what to do...
so when I originally started this TRT experience, my endo threw gel at me without testing E2 etc. I of course filled the prescription, and also have some more from my current doc before I switched to Test E.
been thinking (when my wife says that I get scared, but I digress...) that since I have this crap, which I really don't want to use (hence the switch to injects), what would it hurt to use it all up? I am on 120mg Test E per week, and have almost 2 months worth of gel. Do you guys see any issues with still staying on my Test E but supplementing it with one packet/tube of gel per day?
Figuring if I could get a little more muscle-boost from it, I might as well.
Or is this a stoopid idea?

Wreckless advise!!! He's on 120mg of Test injections ... Are you going to take responsibility when he comes back complaining about the unstable reaction he's experiencing when he takes the two prescriptions together?
This isn't some Spanish Fly that you're promoting it to be. Pheromones??? Use your prescription medicine for recreational purposes, but I'd refrain from advising other members to do the same.

I've read conflicting schools of thoughts:
1) The risk of sides is proportional to dose.
2) The risk of sides is proportional to length of use
3) The risk of sides only increases with extreme does, but the risk of sides is the same for anything from 10mg to 400 mg.
So with that said, you and I, are already taking the risk. Unless #1 is correct, taking more does not substantially increase your risk of sides.
However, if you do choose to do it, do it right and do some research.
For anyone saying #1 is correct, please point me to some sources.
Also, he didn't mention his doses. Maybe hes on 75 mg per week, so if he doubled up it would be 150, heck I am on 200.
One thing to consider, make sure you do it without your doc being able to find out, that is before you get more BW.
Its not a good idea to do what you are saying, but in other forums MANY will say taking TRT is a bad idea in general. Just depends on where you are. Go to BB.com and you'll be flamed for taking any test at all. LOL.
EDIT: He did mention the dose. So if you doubled it it would be 440 mg per week. There's somebody on 400 just for TRT.
Depends on what your goal is.... Regardless, go to the educational section and READ up before you make a choice. Personally I don't see anything wrong with it if you have enough to do it right and you are going to do it RIGHT.Last edited by nwjt; 06-20-2010 at 11:13 PM.
