Does DMSO speed up gel delivery or actually deliver MORE testosterone?

    Or maybe both...

I am interested to know how DMSO actually works. If it simply speeds up the delivery but does not allow more drug to be delivered into the body then I can only figure it would be detrimental.

    Looking for some knowledge!

DMSO transdermal can and will increase the concentration of Testosterone into the blood stream when using a gel or a cream.

It will also transfer anything else on your skin into your blood stream as well which can be outright dangerous.

It is very difficult to control the amount of Testosterone that will make it into your blood stream so the likelihood of peaking to extreme ranges and then falling is quite possible and not a good scenario...think E2.

I have never seen any medical literature promoting the use of DMSO for increased pharmacological uptake via transdermal.

On the contrary, all I've read strongly advises against its use for this purpose.

That being said, you will probably find members here who have used it, or currently use it, with success...but that doesn't make it right.

Do some research and make an informed decision hrt.

    Here's a good start: http://www.dmso.org/articles/information/muir.htm

i think the whole point of gels is to 'hang' in your dermal layers and get slowly released into your bloodstream, gels have high test per gram due to poor absorption to counter this afaik , as gdevine said using dmso to bang it right into your bloodstream all at once could be downright dangerous.

Right, and it wouldn't be desirable to "slam" it all in at once.

Not just that but it's very difficult to control how much gets in on a consistent basis...no control over dosing = erratic levels.

I don't believe DMSO is very dangerous - but it does have one bad side effect. It gives your breath a weird metallic-garlic odor if you use it transdermally.

I remember spilling some on myself years ago and I could taste it for a couple days afterwards.

I believe the only other issue is purity, since most DMSO is sold as an industrial solvent and could contain metals and other contaminants.

People use it all the time, by itself and compounded with gels with great success, so the stuff works.

I used it for awhile to try and rid myself of this never ending bout of golfers elbow that I've had since July and saw no decrease in inflammation as research has indicated it would do. Golfers elbow wins yet another round.

[QUOTE=ecdysone;5901782]I don't believe DMSO is very dangerous -

Okay, so tell us how much a man should use on a daily basis to stay at a consistent high normal level????

Why isn't it compounded in current gels and creams today?

Saying that you don't think it's very dangerous for TRT protocols is a bit much...please support.

Every physician I know in the TRT space strongly advises against its use not discounting the fact that it can put things into your blood stream that don't below there (and God only knows what that can turn into) and simply put there is no accurate dosage control protocol if one is self administering.

What do you know that these TRT Docs don't know?

OK. I need to bumb this.
I apologize for my understanding, but is that mean that i can buy injectible testosteron and solve it within the DMSO
and can apply to my skin without any needles. If it is true why wouldn`t I be a gear producer for women or other oral lovers.
