Getting first blood work since starting TRT, what should I ask for?

Greetings,
I have been on TRT for 4 months. I started on testim and moved to self injecting 100mg weekly test enenthate 2 months ago. My doc is flexible but no endocrine expert. What specific tests should I ask for in my blood work? I already requested estradiol be tested. What else would be helpful?

PS: if it is helpful, I feel great until last 2 days of cycle, libido is way up, my testicles are about 50% smaller, hair is falling out, I am gaining more muscle mass, I am gaining a bit more fat, nipples are sensitive, energy is great until last 2 days of cycle.

why gaining fat??? do u mean water or is ur diet bad?

Make sure your Testosterone includes Free T. You might want to add TSH, T3 and T4 to that.

The weight gain is water and a bit of fat. I'm going to tighten the diet up a bit. My face looks really puffy and swollen. How do I combat the swelling. I know how to handle the fat.

ask for anastrozole it will help with nipples and water bloat

Depending on your test levels you may want to do the injection every 5 days to keep levels even. You may have to adjust down a tad, but ask your dr. Mine thought the 5 day injection was OK.

i'd be doing AS MUCH cardio as i could in the meantime but get a look at your estradiol levels asap and as stated most likely will benefit with an AI

You've been on TRT for 4 months ... How long has it been since you've ran BW? What tests did you run then and what kind of scores did you have on things like Test (total & free), E2, LH/FSH, etc.?

We have not done blood since I started as we were changing meds and didn't test me until we decided we liked one.
The last test did not include E2 but this one will. I will check to see if LH/FSH is on there.

T, it's too late to go back now, but your doc should have tested you 6 weeks after you started, then a few months thereafter. Make sure you include a PSA lab with the others.

I started with Testim for one month. I liked the results, but the cream was a drag to control. I felt poisonous, toxic, like I should in quarantine around my lady. Switched to Androderm for one month but it was less effective. I asked for shots and he gave them to me. I like The test enth so far, but my face is constantly swollen and my hair suddenly left the building.
Although I like my general practitioner but I may switch to an endocrinologist as you guys actually know more than he does about this.

PS: that blood work link helped quite a bit!

Your doctor did you terribly wrong by switching your program up so frequently like that WITHOUT ever running any lab work. Next time he flies maybe his pilot will wear a blindfold, which is basically how he flies with his patients. As jpkman indicated, you need to look at the E2 level and probably get going on a AI.
