I'm on Test Cyp for low T (I was in the 300's) and I'm looking for a new doctor. One doc I talked to said he would recommend trying HCG as TRT without the Test Cyp. He said if my nuts are functioning properly that it could be my LH signal that was causing low T. Does anyone have any experience taking just HCG as a TRT protocol? I'm sure I'd need an AI too.
Your gonna need more stats than just T level in the 300's to get much of a response.
The thing is, HCG won't fix the LH signal. If you have low LH, taking HCG will only suppress it further. If TRT is needed then the best bet is going with cyp or eth, and add a little HCG to help keep some natural production working. Don't quite know why the doc is trying to avoid giving a proper TRT protocol.
