HRT recommendations by the Doc
I've gotten my test results and my Doctor feels that my test levels are below normal range for my age. He decided to put me on the test cream to start off and see how i go. I will post my test results when i get them mailed to me.
Here are my DHEAS/CORT results:
Melatonin 2 pg/ml (10-40) -- extremely low
DHEAS 3.4 nmol/L (5 - 30) -- extremely low
Estradiol (E2) 8.0 pmol/L
Estrone (E1) 10 pg/ml
Here is the HRT plan:
DHEA 200MG Troche- Dose: 0.5 tab daily
Melatonin 3mg - Dose: 1 capsule daily
Testosterone 10% + Chrysin 5% Cream - Dose: 1ml daily
Stats:
32yrs old
Weight: 176lbs Height: 5ft 7'
Bf: 10%
I'm just trying to get feedbacks from you guys about the HRT that he is starting me on. What is the actually amount of test that is in the 1ml daily dosage? The Doctor has said that he can prescribe me with sus250/fortnightly injections but he reckons the daily test cream will maintain a more consistant level of test in the body. let me know your thoughts guys. cheers.

Agree ... Let us know your test results when you can. If you can pick and choose, go with the injections.

numbers look pretty mid range (no range included for your estradiol which is a very important hormone to have at a good ratio with and when adding test)
but most important than numbers if you are having symptoms of low t then i agree with your doctor and would try to treat your symptoms..
as far as the delivery of the test.....yes, gels and creams because they are taken daily and have the same half lives they can give u more consistant levels but being on this site for over 4 years and have done both gels and injections injections r clearly the favorite...pretty much the average is to inject once a week with some doing two shots a week but some doing them every 10-14 days....
most certainly wont hurt to start on the cream first and see how u like it...once again if you are having symptoms i would be looking for improvements withing the month or less with either...
make sure that the doc is on board with monitoring your estradiol and prepared to treat that if it goes up to a poor ratio with your test levels
