My doc said to do the bloodwork 2 weeks before my next visit but did not give a time line as far as how close it could be to my last shot of test. My doc does not believe in testing for estrogen so I am thinking of doing my own bloodwork and taking it to him. I think I am having sex drive problems related to high estrogen my energy leval and strenght have gone up but my sex drive is hit and miss, my wife is so angry if I ever do have a problem she acts as if I did it on purpose it causes us alot of problems so I really need to get it fixed. So I guess this is my goal more than anything else.

Sometimes I think part of my problem is performance anxoity and psycological which is a whole other matter, I just wish my wife were more supportive thur this, I know it is hard on her to because she first believed it was due to me not being attracted to her but she is a nurse and has seen my first bloodwork which had my total test at 87. Any tips on how to deal with the psycological side would be helpful as well.. Sorry for being so scattered..

no sorries...thanks for clearing up some of your concerns..u can see how that info would be needed to answer your ? properly...

about the misses unfortunately everybody cant just turn on a switch and get ready for their partner and sounds as if it may snowball on you as you begin to worry...

if you can get e2 labs on your own you should you will always wonder if this is the possible reason for your libido issue...put it this way...it wont hurt to check that level...

about when to do blood for your test levels...if you are running the dose you were prescribed you can go a week after shot and still catch your levels as they just start to decline..

back to the misses...is the libido thing something new? as she should be more supportive of what your going thru...is this what she wants from you during menopause if that hasnt come already

Thanks for the reply, and no the problem is not new it is the main reason for me getting on TRT and getting checked out. I think that trt has been very helpful to me in many ways but I think I may be asking it for more than it can provide. It can't make you want to have sex with someone thats mean to you on fix a strained relationship. I started to learn that fixing the body does not always fix the mind.

Bro, it is REALLY easy for your brain to over rule your hormones. Especially if it involves someone you really care about. A word or two here or there or even a look can sometimes do it. You take care of your self, get happy with yourself, and you will see that those words and looks don't mean shiat anymore. Go work out. A good friend of mine on this board would say you gotta look out for numero uno before you can take care of numero dos.

My doc wants BW done at the mid-point of the dosing cycle....in my case, one week after my injection. Other docs may have differing preferences.
