Extreme Muscle Stiffness, Headaches, Nightmares
I have had low Test for at least 3 years that i can confirm with bloodwork but I am guessing longer that that. I am holding out to start TRT until I inpregnate my wife.
I also happen to suffer from the following:
1. nightmeres every night without exception
2. wake up with headaches and extreme stiffness in back and neck
3. muscle stiffness and knotting is sevre (i get deep tissue weekly and massuse says i get some of the worst knots she has seen.
I am wondering if anyone else suffered from any of these symptoms while having low T?
I dont want to get my hopes up that these will go away after starting TRT if they wont.

I have had these symptoms as long as I can remember. I clench my jaw so hard at night I wake up with migraines and back/neck stiffness. I have seen all kinds of doctors. I have had epidural shots in my head as well as botox. Nothing works. I was hoping maybe TRT would take care of it along with the normal low t symptoms.

We have been trying for about 7 months.
My sperm count and health is above average!
My wife has been going through a lot of tests, the next one is to see if her mucous is killing my swimmers. After that we might go invetro so that we can have twins and be done.
All my blood work is normal with the exceptoins of:
1. Free test which is below range
2. Iron which is just a little above range
3. Total test which is in range but on the low side.
everything else is in check.

Stop taking a multi-vitamin that has iron in it. Of course, this will only hlep with the high iron levels. Those are good for the wife, bad for a guy.

nightmares can be brought on by a traumatic event even if something only visual....
i went to a phsychiatrist and had a few sessions of staring at a moving light while talking about the event and my nightmares ebbed and went away in a short time (i forget the name of the light therapy)...
about the stiffness in the neck, i have had it recently not before trt and believe it to be mostly stress as well

If it was a traumatic event, it must be so traumatic that i blocked it from my memory. I was thinking about seeing a psychiatrist to see if it would help with nightmares. I think the stiffness is directly related to nightmares as I flex up my back and neck and clench my jaw while experiencing nightmares.

yup, all familiar to me, especially the muscle stiffness and knots! not to mention shoulder and neck pain during the night! nightmeres are due to the inability to breath correctly, and thats caused by you not sleeping in a comfortable position due to your pains! once i got on TRT all those pains went away including the nightmeres! and based on your blood work you definitely have low test so its time bro!

Is there a reason a person shouldn't concieve while on TRT? I also had the muscle problems and stiffness before TRT, sometimes woke up with my neck tightened up and streched back......never had nightmares......mainly because I NEVER slept more than a few minutes at a time..........all better now....TRT rules bro, I sleep like a friggin log and enjoy every second of it.

I had lots of muscle cramps in my back, shoulders and neck. I would constantly bug my wife to dig her elbows in, and her heavy messages were the only thing that kept me going some times. I always hurt somewhere. Four weeks after starting TRT they were gone. Haven't had them since. I am willing to attribute some things to the placebo effect, but not that.

I get a deep tissue massage once a week which is almost orgasmic because I have such chronic muscle pain. My wife's elbows just cant cut through the knots to give me any relief.
I am really trying to not get my hopes up that TRT will relieve muscle aches and headaches but if it does I am going to run down the street naked wearing a cape and carrying a sign that says TRT!

Why not just store sperm at a cryolab? Cost me like 40 USD a month for 16 vails on ice. No worries.

Yeah, a knotted and stiff back and neck all but ruined my weekend which was spent kayaking white water rapids. Any time the water was calm i would row backwards because it was a relief to my screaming back while the rest of the women had no problem rowing normal.

I have the cape, I have a mask, I have the camcorder. All I need now is the relief.
I wish now that i had made a different commitment, but since I have promised streaking I am already scheming on a time in location that gives me least chance of going to jail.
