Lab work after being on TRT for about 5-6 weeks
DHEA: 507 (168-592)ng/dL
Estradiol: 16.1 (10-42)
Total T: 487 (280-1100)ng/dL
Free T: 113.4 (47-244)pg/mL
Free T %: 2.3 (1.6-2.9) %
Bioavailable T: 356.7 (131-682)ng/dL
Looks like I probably need a new dose of T.
Any thoughts?
By the way I am not on any AI's.

What cream are you on, and what time of the day was it applied as opposed to the BW? If the BW was pulled 24-25 hrs after application and it is anything like Androgel , you're T level will about double in about 6 hrs or so after applying. Mines mid 400's to 500's first thing in a.m. pre app. 6 hrs later it's over 850.

I put the cream on in the morning about 6:30am. I had the blood work done at about 6:30pm.
The type of cream is Lipo?

Well, my doc changed my script to injections. I will take my first shot of 200mg test cyp tomorrow.
Too be honest, I'm not looking forward to it.... It's a big freaking needle!

dont worry about it, the needle looks intimidating but you wont even feel it, after you do your first injection all the rest will go smooth

you got switched from cream to injections during this thread..its like a live thread...from the doctors office...
wow from cream to 200mg shot...
whats the 7-10 days indecisiveness about....

Update: I just took my first shot! My doctor actually changed my dose before I took the shot... It was kinda weird.
Anyway, I am now taking 100mg shots every 9 days. As far as the indecisiveness, I think that is my doctor. She just can't make up her mind.
I did not discuss AI's. I wasn't really thinking about it since my last labs showed my E at a low level. Do you think I should be worried?

My E stays low even when I up my dose from the usual 200mg/week. Not everyone needs it.

What? Dude you NEED to talk to her about protocol......she should have you on 200mgs every 7 days for a couple months and go from there....AT LEAST 100 every 7 Like JPK suggested, take some info with you and go talk to her if that dont work go to a clinic.

[QUOTE=biggymrat;5651665] I am now taking 100mg shots every 9 days. As far as the indecisiveness, I think that is my doctor. She just can't make up her mind.

IMO this is not going to do you much good; 100 mgs is not a lot especially over 9 days and could end up putting you on somewhat of a rollercoaster. T and E2 levels are probably going to bounce around a bit and you could feel good to shit while putting your body through a bit of hell.
As mentioned by the worthy here; see if you can go on 100 mg per week (better 50 mg twice per week) along with .5 mg of an AI on the day you inject to control aromatase conversion to E2 (1 mg of AI to 100 mg of T is a good starting point before new labs). Did she mention anything to you about hCG now that you will be in HPTA shutdown??? Find out if she understands HEPTA shutdown and what's going to happen to your testicles. If she doesn't understand why you need hCG then do your research and understand why you need it
Do you think I should be worried? YES!!!Last edited by steroid.com 1; 05-26-2011 at 10:20 PM.

I'm talking about a clinic that specializes in TRT, not just a medical clinic.
X2 on gdivine and JPK

Whoa there, I don't think it is time to hit the panic button just yet. You have found a doc that is working with you somewhat - that is the first battle. Your E2 is low now anyway. I really dont see 100/week throwing you above range, in fact it would be good if it bumped up a little. And I see the old twice a week thing has reared it's head again - once is sufficient to start with anyway imo. So do your research about HCG , it is a good thing to be on, and work your way into having that discussion with your doc, worst case - buy it yourself.
Get your labs done in 4-5 weeks and see where you are at that point.
But , if you don't like your doc or feel she is not addressing your concerns - go find a clinic.
Good Luck
