HCG Question
Need some feedback. On TRT for life due to pituitary tumor shutting me down. So, balls have naturally shrunk up somewhat. In my particular circumstance, will HCG really help or is it an effort in futility? Thoughts please!

I'm not experienced and not on HCG (yet), but HCG should help you. It mimics the hormone (LH I think) that your pituitary is supposed to be making that signals your testes to produce testosterone , among other hormones. HCG should wake your "boys" up.
I thought that there was a drug treatment to shrink pituitary tumors and help to restore proper function...

HCG is exactly what you need. Works like a charm.

Been on TRT 6 mo now. Works great and loving it although Doc won't consider Estrogen, anti-E's or HCG . The tumor is a microadenoma which is small now and does not require surgery. If so, they go through the nose and I should get a discount due to easy access! I've not heard of a drug to shrink them or I'm sure the endo, GP or buddy of mine who's a doc would have suggested it. Some of the tumors cause GH release. I would rather have that one for sure. I read alot on it and used it way back but just didn't know if it would work for "me" now in my current condition.
So what kind of cycle is appropriate for my situation?

HCG —a Luteinizing Hormone (LH) analog can/will effectively restore your testicles to previous form and function given that they are still there LOL!
Most men on a TRT protocol will go into HPTA shutdown resulting in depressed and/or very low levels of LH production resulting in a self induced organ shutdown (meaning the testes) as the testes are no longer being supported; HCG corrects that. There are other great benefits to using HCG as well such as the testes producing Pregnenolone supporting a natural balance of hormones in a mans body. Additionally, you get the natural production of Test, you may feel better, have better mental processes and the list goes on...
Men on a TRT protocol will benefit greatly on a co-administered protocol of HCG. Doses need to be small to prevent desensitizing the receptors on the leydig cells and well as keeping intra-testicular E2 in check. Typically a 250 iu EOD is very effective for most men but the can be spread out to just twice a week as well.
Read some of Dr. Crisler's white papers on TRT and HCG protocols, print them out, and have this guy read them...that may change his mind.Last edited by steroid.com 1; 06-08-2011 at 02:30 PM.

Lookin at old BW from 8/10 my LH was 0.1 and FSH was 0.2. Way low. I have all my BW copies and don't see it checked since then. Your recommending to be pretty steady with it or cycle it periodically?

Steady protocol like EOD or E3D and there's really no such thing as "a cycle" with HCG . You're LH level is in the tank man like not producing! I am .1 at 120 mg of Test C a week! You're boys are starving and you're suffering and it's not going to get any better. Get on HCG and that will change your life like T does. Men like you shouldn't have to suffer!!!
