TRT Doctor in Chicago
Does anyone know of a good TRT doc in the greater Chicago area who accepts insurance?

I don't live in Chicago so can't help you there, but I can offer a little help on the insurance thing.
Many docs will accept insurance, but many insurance policies don't pay for out-of-network docs until you exceed a deductible. For a single person that deductible may be $3,000. So unless you have paid $3,000 out of pocket on unreimbursed claims, you want to stay in network. If it pays in network only, they will have a list of docs in network. Consider endoctrinologists and urologists. Many have had better luck with urologists; however, many have gone to endo's and done well too.
If you get suggestion about a good TRT doc, still check with your insurance to see if he and the service is covered.

No luck here, I found a clinic in Buffalo Grove but crazy, crazy expensive and do not take insurance. Use a clinic in Florida and it's cheaper (much) to fly there every other year for my face to face. Also, must admit, I enjoy he mini vacation. LOL

That's the rub. I don't as much want a "clinic" as I want a real doctor who can give me a test, and if the results point to TRT then do that, or points to clomid or AI or HCG to begin with before jumping in to TRT, or if the results point to a possible tumor that needs an MRI then do that. I may have found one guy in a real medical group a bit of a drive away but nothing terrible. I have to call the office and ask if the Dr. is amenable to IM TRT with AI and HCG should the need arise.

Kwerk,
Some clinics have "real" Doctors, there not all factories. The goal is finding one that does what you are looking for. They are out there, I would not subject myself to unnecessary health risks or would many other members here if some clinics didn't run a legitimate business. Problem as I see it, too many "Doctors" are not qualified or think they are weather it's ego or pride or they just think they know it all rather than referring to someone who does know. Many other Doctors are WAY to conservative in that a Tes level of 380 is totally normal and fine and needs no treatment even if the patient complains of legitimate symptoms.
