    Swollen quad

Okay switched from glutes to quad injection about 2 months ago. Was sore a few times but got used to it. On sunday when I pinned myself in the quad it got sore again kinda like a mild charliehorse. So later that night when I was flexing I noticed my outer quad was swollen. It is not hot and it isn't a lump in one spot its the whole outer quad. It's probably not noticable to anyone else but I can definitely tell. That whole quad muscle is sore as well not painful but definitely sore. One thing I would add is that I changed clinics and they switched me to a prop cyp combo 50mg prop and 200mg cyp. This is my 3rd pin with the new combo and the first time this has happened. I alternate legs each week. Any ideas?

I'm not sure if I have asked you yet but I have posted it several time. How long does it take you to inject? From the time you put the pin in to taking the pin out? How long to push the plunger down to empty?

Most people usually do it in 3-5 seconds. Take the same syringe and fill it with water. Push it down just as hard pointing it up. How far does it squirt? Now imagine that in your leg or glute. Where is it going to go? Only place to go is blasting against the muscle like a fire hose. Lot's of people get charlie horses or bruises that last a few days or longer.

Now take a full 60 sec to inject 1cc, 2 minutes to inject 2cc. Do the math, 1 minute = no bruise or charlie horse, 3-5 seconds = 2+ days of pain. What makes more sense.

HeyLB thanks for the words of wisdom. I don't take a full minute but I definitely take at least 30 seconds. I'll make it even slower. My original pin was in the glute this week but it didn't feel right and felt like I was close to something so I switched needles and pinned my quad instead. I always put the pin in slow too. It's nothing I can't work through but I've never seen swelling just a charliehorse type pain.

x2. I take my time injecting and always done well with it. However, i only use the delts and will ocassionally get a slight lump with some pain for a couple days.

I've only injected in my quad once. The injection went fine, very little pain. Unfortunately, for days my quad was super sore. I may of been gulity of injecting the T too quickly.
