Finally Received COMPLETE Labs, PLEASE Help!!!
Good Afternoon Board:
I finally received all of the results from my July 5 blood draw. I'm a 38 year old male, 5 foot 6, and weighing 190lbs.
Keep in mind that as of June 20, 2011 my Total T was 252ng.
I have had two injections of Test Cyp at 200mgs. The first one was Thursday June 23, and the last injection that I had was Monday June 27 (leaving approx. 8 days in between last inject and blood draw).
TSH, 0.79 mIU/L (.40-4.50)
Ferritin, 35 ng/mL (20-345)
WBC, 6.7 Thousand/uL (3.8-10.8)
RBC, 4.32 Million/uL (4.20-5.80)
Hemoglobin, 13.7 g/dL (13.2-17.1)
Hematocrit, 40 % (38.5-50.0)
Reticulocyte Count, Absolute, 108000 cells/mcl (25000-90000)
Cholesterol, 215 MG/DL (125-200)
Triglyceride, 331 MG/DL (<150)
HDL Cholesterol, 35 MG/DL (> or = 40)
LDL Cholesterol, Calculated 114 MG/DL (<130)
Cortisol, Total, Serum, 11.8 mcg/dL (AM) 4.0-22.0 mcg/dL (PM) 3.0-17.0 mcg/dL
Progesterone <0.5 ng/mL (<1.4)
Prolactin, Serum 11.4 ng/mL (2,0-18.0)
LH, Serum, <0.2 mIU/mL (1.5-9.3)
FSH, Serum, <0.7 mIU/mL (1.6-8.0)
T4, Total, 5.9 ug/dL (4.5-12.0)
T3, Total 136 ng/dL (76.181)
T3, Free, 3.7 pg/mL (2.3-4.2)
T3, Uptake, 30.7 % (27.8-40.7)
T4 Free, Calculated, 1.8 UG/DL (1.6-3.7)
T4 Free, Non-Dialysis, 0.8 ng/dL (0.8-1.8)
Estradiol, 72 pg/mL (13-54)
PSA, Total 0.4 ng/mL (0.0-4.0)
IGE, Serum 14 kU/L (0-114)
SHBG, 40 nmol/L (10-50)
IGF-3, 2.7 mg/L (3.4-7.0)
Total T, LCMSMS, 708 ng/dL (250-1100)
Free T, 144.4 pg/mL (35,0-155.0)
Vit D, 25-OH, Total, 34 ng/mL (30-100)
Not sure if this has anything to do with hormones, but the two below tests came back elevated:
Wheat (GF4) IGG, 3.1 mcg/mL (Less than 2.0)
Casein/Cow Milk (F78) IGG, 6.0 mcg/mL (less than 2.0)
It appears that even though my Estradiol level is elevated, and my LH and FSH is nil, Total T and Free T numbers look good. My concern is this, if my Total and Free T levels are looking good, how come I don't notice any changes and/or feel any better?
Thanks to all of you in advance,

You need to get your E2 levels down. High E2 levels can share many symptoms of low T.

High Estradiol will make you feel bad. Despite that quoted range, you really want it below 30, but not too low. If it gets too low, you feel bad too. Most people do well in the 15-30 range with 25 being the optimal number. You need an AI.
If you are taking T your LH and FSH will be low. It it wasn't low now, that would be an issue. So ignore those low readings.
Low IGF. Can't help you there. Someone else will have to assist with that number.

Also, stick to weekly injections of 100mg instead of 200mg EOW.
Someone mentioned in one of your other posts that the liquidex in the AAR site can help to control the E2 if your doctor isn't going to give you anything

Unless insurance is paying for the AI, get liquidex off the internet and use that. It is a lot less expensive.

Thanks to all for your helpful insight. I had my 3rd inject today, and in the hopes of lowering my E without an AI, I took everyone's advice and only shot 100mg as opposed to 200mg. I plan on injecting the same amount every month, just shooting less EW instead of more EOW. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but my entire hormone panel seems to be in line with the exception of the elevated E? And the reason that I still feel shitty is due to the elevated E, and once I get that in control, my symptoms should improve? I don't know if this can even be answered, but if my E was in the 20-30 range (which most claim to be optimal), and all my other numbers stay the same, and I still don't feel better, then I never had any hormone related problems to begin with, and there could be something else wrong with me entirely?
I feel like I'm rambling, and prob not making any sense, but how likely is it that the high E is the culprit here? Can elevated levels really continue to make you feel THAT bad, and is 75 considered REALLY elevated???? I don't know if anyone understands me or what I'm asking, I am just desperate to get to the bottom of this.
Thanks for listening to my shit..............

I'm sort of a noob to all this, but I think many on this forum have answered your question. YES! The high E will make you feel like crap! Get it under control and then you will most likely be in good shape.
Just my .02 : I think you need to RELAX and be a little more PATIENT. You have only had 3 shots.

Biggym,
You might be a noob, but it you nailed it. I am one impatient mother****er. You read about some of these people who after their first shot, claim to have gotten so much relief, and if that doesn't happen to you, it can make you crazy in the head. Especially since your hormones are all ****ed up. Thanks for putting me in my place....

Once you get your E2 under control you need to measure your Test assays all over again as they will likely increase with lowering of aromatization. Most likely will need to lower your dose once that happens.
I said this on one of your other 5 posts but you should be taking 90 mg of zinc and 2 mg of copper EVERYDAY along with DIM; both of these are natural anti aromatase inhibitors.
But I think you need scrip for where you're at to get down in the 20's.Last edited by steroid.com 1; 07-11-2011 at 07:47 PM.

Agreed. I had consistently high E2....as high as 80...DIM didn't help much. Ended up with script for .5 EOD Arimidex ....has kept it at about 20 for 5 or so months. Everyone's optimal E2 level differs.

As a testiment to the negative effects of E2, it doesnt matter how high your testosterone levels are if the e2 is beyond a certian level. Even if the ratio is infavor of testosterone , it doesnt matter. This is why for me, im hornier on my on level of test, than i am at 500mg of test a week. I know this is HRT but same difference
