    Gel while wife is pregnant

I'm seeing my Dr. Next Tuesday to discuss a game plan, my test levels are at 329 last visit he mentioned he would put me on the gel. I just found out my wife is pregnant so I'm worried about the transference of the gel. I've read it can cause damage to the fetus. I was going to ask him to prescribe me injectable before I got this great news and hope he would agree. Now there's just no way I'll accept that gel. Just want to check with some experienced guys that this is a true fact regarding the gel damaging a fetus, before I go plead my case to the Dr.

Tell doc your wife is prego and you are concerned. My doc offered me gel; after I told him I about my 3 y/o kid he withdrew the offer. He then offered Test Cyp.

I had a gel prescription and at first I had concerns and brought them up to my doc. He sort of dismissed them but I persisted and he finally gave me test cyp. You have a valid concern. Ask the doc and tell him why you want to switch, most likely he'll do it. Shots are a lot more convenient and work better.

Well the Dr. Told me my last visit that I can only get injections in office, even after I told him my sister is an RN and would do injections for me he still said no way. I think it's all about $$ every time I go in he gets to charge my insurance company for an office visit, it's gonna kill me because I pay a $40 copayment, some guys on here recommended I look into another Dr. I'll be doing just that after a few injections. My first priority is to start feeling better, I've been feeling like crap since early spring!
