Gynecomastia and HRT - Any Hope for Reduction?
Hi,
I am 32 and have moobs from childhood due to Hormonal deficiency(due to a pituitary tumor later detected, did surgical removal of tumor only).
it is sagging and causes discomfort, embarrassment and I am advised to go for Surgery when free of time.
Before that, I am fully on HRT including Testosterone for past 10 Years.
1) Thyronorm(Thyroxin) Tablet - 1
2) Wysolone(Cortisol) - 5mg - 1/2 of a tablet
3) Calcium Tablet
4) Cernos Depot(Similar to Nebido - Testosterone Undecanoate - Every 90 Days.
I am 100kgs, 5ft8in height.
Note that I am against taking Testosterone Injections for Past 8-9 Years and taken Test.inj occassionally only and had faced emotional roller-coasters often. Now, Feeling Better on Test.Injection. Currently, I took Cernos Depot from Dec2010 only. That is hardly 8 months on Testosterone.
My Doubt is, Will This Breast Tissue(Gynecomastia ) reduce if I taken on Testosterone Injections continuously? Is there treatment for reversing Estrogen Effects?
TIA+

is it fat or is it a harder tissue you feel behind the nipple? If it is harder tissue it wont go away or revert back considering you have had it all your life because it is glandular and not stored fat in the pectoral region. The only way to get rid of the gyno is to have it surgically removed.

No, it is Hard Breast Tissue-Glandular formed due to Years of facing inadequate Hormone levels. I am Worried about the surgery..since I'm on all these Medications daily and Will I cope up another surgery? I think corrective surgeries will Follow ?

one surgery is most likely all you will need just make sure to tell them you want the gland removed and not partially removed. It's fine to have the surgery with the meds.

I heard John Crisler on Super Human Radio say that he has a simple (albeit it's still surgery) procedure that he does in his office in like an hour or so to remove gyno. Look for the archive on the site and you can hear him talk about it. Interesting.

I had to go through the surgery long before I knew I even had hormonal imbalance. This dr would not remove the glands but he did remove a good bit around love handles while doing it. Never once did he even suggest hormonal imbalance. I was very skinny with mobs...you'd think that he would have wondered why.
Since TRT, gym, Arimidex , and consistent BW, chest even better and LH all but gone.
Problem, though, is that you may have some loose skin if your skin's elasticity is not there anymore...mine is in LH but not bad.
Find a good plastic surgeon and make sure you tell him the whole story. That way he can remove what needs to be removed and also be aware of any hormonal issues.
And till now I've never told anyone I had it, so you don't have to worry about people finding out, embarrassment, etc. But on other hand if someone has a problem with it, f**k em (new attitude compliments of TRT!).
Pursue it!!!

Thanks for the replies.
@Bigfoot66: How Much time needed to recover from the Liposuction(or whatever method)/Surgery? Does it include wearing tight corset after surgery?

I was back at work in 5 days. Yes to the compression...for about 6 weeks. Feel free to PM me if you need any details that could help you with this decision.
