trt break???

Had a visit with my trt doc today, and he insists that every 3-4 months that i come off my trt for 1 month and take hcg. I tell him how crappy i feel and id rather not come off. He says its to let your body rebound and prevent testicular atrophy. I want to just stay on and run hcg every few months, Is this ok?? what are your guys trt/hcg doses look like?? Any advice please....

most just run the hcg along with their test to prevent the atrophy....i've heard of what your saying like once or twice and i think the guy fired the doc that suggested it

Sheesh!!! These quacks are clueless, research Dr Crislers protocols and print them for your doc to read, if that doesn't work quietly search for a doc with half a clue what he is doing.

Sounds stupid to get everything stabilized and then jack it all around. Make a deal with the doc., you will come off for a month if he takes two weeks of deca only injections.

here we go again! you would think by now all TRT docs are up to date with TRT information by now! i started hCG after 20 weeks or so after TRT and it seems to be working! i plan to run it intermittently, only for hCG of course!

500 iu twice a week for 20 weeks, then take some time off and start again based on symptoms!

HCG acts just like LH in the body; so it does a lot of really good things for you when you're shut down. You need your testes to function and HCG does just that; it also helps produce more natural Test as well

Small doses done frequently is best. Dosages vary but generally common is 250 iu per injection. Really shouldn't inject anything over 350 iu as it can desensitize the leydig cells on the Testes and increase intra-testicle E2 (not a good thing).

Bass, can get away with what he's doing but he'd be better served splitting that 500 into two 250.

perhaps if i did it immediately with TRT, but my boys were almost gone, and now they have been awakened! so i am hopping my boys will fully recover when i am done with the hCG, then start again once i notice shrinkage!

1250 IU is going to desensitize your leydig cells to LH. Do some research on this, and show your doc.

This is just insane and bordering on malpractice in my opinion.

No more then 350 iu EOD is max!

GNBM is correct and if you do this you will hurt yourself.

If you read gdevine's post, no more than 350 IU at one time. This is important so you don't desensitize your boys to LH. Very few people require more than 250 IU in a single shot. So instead of 500 2x/week, do 250 IU 3x/week or EOD.

If you have 10,000 USP unites, you add 10ml of bacteriostatic water. If you have a 5,000 USP units, you add 5ml of bacteriostatic water.

You won't be able to force all the bacteriostatic water in there at one time. What I did was fill the syringe with the total amount of bacteriostatic water. Next, with the mixing vial top side up, I inserted the needle about 1/2 inch, pushed on the plunger to get some water into the vial, drew back on the plunger to pull some air out, push a little, pull a little, push, pull, push, pull until you have all the water added.
