need some advice..

20 year old who has history of aas use as a teenager and now has low testosterone ( extreme fatigue, no sex drive, depression, dry eyes, unclear thinking).. went to an anti aging doctor who prescribed me 200mg of test enth a week. ive been on for 4 weeks now and already feel 100% better..

however this anti aging doctor is about 300 a month, plus 130 for a 10ml vial of test enth from the compounding pharmacy.. i am a college student with a part time job so this is unsustainable for me in terms of financial means..

i went to my gp and he refused to treat me beacuse of my age and another gp was very hesitant and at the most offered me androgel.. which im not even going to waste my time with..

what do i do at this point? how do i obtain more testoterone? i have about 5 more weeks left of my original testosterone script from my anti aging doctor.

ive just been feeling normal these past 4 weeks since being on testosterone and i refuse to go back to feeling horrible simply because i cant afford an anti aging doc.. what do i do?

Go to an endocrinologist, not a GP. They're probably not going to prescribe 300/week though, so be prepared for that. It'll more likely be 100/week to start and they will probably push for you to try the gels first.

Your first job it to spend the next year posting replies to everyone under 24 who wants to use aas and tell them your personal story especially to all those kids who say it cant happen to me.

I hear that if you don't do this, the TRT gods prevent you from finding a good TRT doc!

Totally agree on the endo; but make sure you find one who knows how to get you back and has experience with men who have used aas. This is important to get you on the correct protocol. Do you have med insurance? If so, the endo will probably get your meds covered for you.

Also, don't arbitrarily dismiss a-gel use, especially if your doc will write it and it's covered by insurance. One step at a time if need be. It works wonderfully for some of us....

I agree. Although I was on it for only a month the difference was night and day. It is a first step.

I guess you have done EVERYTHING you can to get back to producing t on your own?????? You are young bro and should be able to bounce back. If not, like the good bro's above have said, find a good endo to help. Please don't think just jumping on trt is your answer.

JPK, it's been working great for about a year now. Absolutely no issues. With switching doc's recently from an endo who knew nothing to a euro who's on top of things, it's been great with the additional hcg and adex. Next month I will be switching to the 1.62. If I choose, he will write me cyp but as for now, I'm good with it. I've just yet to see a down side to my lifestyle with it to make me want to switch over. Time will tell though...
