increased temperature?
Recently I've noticed that after almost every sizable meal calorie-wise (like 700+) I get VERY warm for about 30-60 minutes, to the point of getting that nasty sweat-film over my body. I usually don't seem to cool down completely for a few hours.
At first I thought it was due to the Sriracha I was using, or simply by the fact sometimes I have heaping bowls of steaming oatmeal. However, these have always been typical traits of my diet, and this heat-effect has never happened before.
This is the first time I've ever eaten 3k cals a day on TRT. Is this heat issue possibly related to hormonal factors?

Have you changed any of your supplements? I found this comment interesting: "Eating generally leads to a slight increase in body temperature, as your metabolic rate increases in order to allow the digestion of food. Your temperature may increase by as many as 2 degrees F as the chemical reactions of the digestive process take place within your body. These chemical reactions are what produces the heat that causes a slight augmentation in body temperature." I pulled the quote from here, http://www.fitday.com/fitness-articl...by-eating.html Maybe there's something else there that will help too.
Q: what type of oatmeal you eating that is that good?

No dietary or supplemental changes.
Just wondering if these hot spells are signifying an increase in test and its effect on my body, runaway e2 levels, or nothing at all.
As far as oatmeal, just instant oats nuked with water.
If I want something sweeter I'll add any combo of--cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, blueberries, whey, sweetener
If I want something more savory, I'll add any combo of--tuna, chicken, olive oil, lots of salt/pepper, soy sauce, hot sauce
It's like a blank canvas for anything.

Do you eat spicy foods? Because they can certainly cause you to sweat.

Yes, but no more than I did before TRT.
Maybe I'm just hypochondriac-ing it, but I'm just wondering if increased temp/sweating (either in relation to food or in general) are (un)common for those on TRT.

Here is the only thing I can think of, but it is based on personal experience. Before HRT my E2 was 4. After I started HRT my E2 went up to about 25. I have noticed I sweat more now. And it takes less to make me start sweating. So if you are holding more water because of higher E2, you will likely notice more perspiration, and perspire in situations that before you would not have perspired in.

Of course I had symtomps from E2 of 4: I was crabby, my joints ached, all of my muscled had low-grade pain. Interesting thing about low E2, is your body actually tries to get that up. Best way to do it is produce more fat! Most of my issues were from low E2. But the way to boost E2 is to boost T, for men. My T was not clinically low, but it was at the low end of the scale.

I'm not clinically low either but have all of the classic symptoms and was at the bottom of the scale for my age (44).

i just eat with my head in the refrigerator to stay cool...
actually funkster....i experience the same but not for as long ....and yes...i will pound down a bowl of oatmeal as soon as it wont burn the skin off my tongue and sip hot coffee and then half way go microwave it again...
an ex gf used to think that after a meal or with a meal especially what she called a heavy meal that drinking hot tea or coffee would help melt/digest the fat/meal....interesting theory

Both!!............Do you guys think it would help if I tried a different position? Actually the sweating isn't as much of a problem as fixing the holes in the drywall.......maybe I should reduce my dose of Test slowly until the drywall damage sides go away? Another weird side is that my wife always seems to have headaches right after sex. This whole TRT protocol thing is proving hard to find the right balance. I suppose I'll get her a padded helmet, should help with the headaches and the drywall damage.

Don't reduce the T dose. Tell your wife she has to find a sweet little girlfriend to help burden your virility.

I like that idea, I'll see what she thinks about it........it's either a girlfriend or she'll have to wear one of those styrofoam bicycling helmets from wal-mart.

When the headaches come pre-sex start worrying.

If that happens it's probably a good sign that the mail man is on TRT too, that bastard.
