Rule clarification

Heard from a mod who got clarification on price discussions in this forum.

It is ok to talk about legitimate prescription prices from a legitimate U.S. pharmacy. This will allow members to check what they are paying vs others and make sure they are not getting "bent over".

Also allowed is clinic pricing discussion, whether or not it includes the pricing with legitimate prescriptions.

As always no UG source or price comments or questions!

Thanks flats. Always seemed strange that we were not supposed to talk about legitimate script prices. To tell the truth, I thought maybe the mods had an UG supply business going and didn't want their customers to know how much they were getting raked. Good to know this is not the case.

The clinic I was going to charged about $200 for a 10ml vial of 300mg/ml Test E.

lol. No. The issue is we dont normally allow any price discussion. So we didnt allow it here either. Hopefully it just stays in here and we dont get more people posting prices of things they shouldnt.

I don't think we need to hear about peoples co-pay.

I pay $71 for 10ml vial of 200mg/ml Test Cyp from my local family owned pharmacy. Walgreens is right across the street and they wanted $100 here.

So (for me) $14.20 a month for the Test.

it was the issue if we allow it here that it doesnt spread to the whole board discussing prices of everything. Hopefully it wont and will stay allowed

with walgreens you can get their discount card. That lowered the price $30 a vial. And it also works on other scripts too.

I know....it still comes out a hair cheaper to use the local family pharmacy.....which I like to support anyway.

Looks like the going rate is right around $70 for a 10ml vial......so if your paying much over that shop around.

IMO, it's always helpful to see where other members co-pays are at for various meds. How else are you to gauge whether your own policy is competitive or not?

Sorry.....good point.

I guess I figured if people had insurance that covered it that your co-pays would all be in the same ballpark. BTW if mine was covered the co-pay would be $20.

i had a discount prescription card and was getting cyp for 60 something at one time this year but ran into a little trouble at that pharmacy and transferred now paying 80 something.....yup, copay days were nice but no more for me...used to pay 9.00 for cyp
