Diet is very clean. Has been all my life. always into bodybuilding lifestyle.
Will add Selenium/kelp.
Be 54 in a couple months. Still striving to be an adult!
Will post pending levels as soon as I receive them.
Then DHEA is low?

IMO, yes.
Remember, you are introducing Test downstream so the conversion of Cholesterol to Pregnenolone to DHEA upstream will be pretty much shutdown. (That's just one more reason why men need HCG (identical LH) when introducing exogenous Test.) Supplementation with both Pregnenolone and DHEA is highly recommended by many TRT Docs "in the know" and is commonly prescribed as an important component to their protocols.

If they are legitimate posts, I'd love to read them, but damn. All went well at the Doc visit GD. What I pm'd you he agreed with along with a different concentration of gel which could have impacted it. Gonna get scoped and re-test in 3 months. Doc said he's been putting it off himself too. Got script for the preg-dhea-selig combo at the strength you recommended. It's done already at the compounding pharmacy, just gotta get it. Only $65 bucks for months supply which my insurance will cover. As always, the advice is much appreciated.

Now that's what I'm talking about! You got a great Doc! What was his response when you told him you wanted the DHEA/Preg/Seleg? Be interested to know.
Glade your getting scoped Kel. I think what you PM'd me is why it was high...it will do that. You'll be fine.
Good day for you today my friend...very happy for you

This euro is great GD. He gives me a lot more time than the normal doc and does not shut you down when your talking. I go there with all bw and just go through every aspect of it telling him what I think and he responds. He agreed my dhea was low and we spoke about that pathway (chol-preg-dhea). I then told him I would like to compound it at the levels you suggested and he had no problem. He was not up on Selegiline but I explained its benefits at low doses as compared to high dosages (Parkinsons) and he had no problem. Said he's gonna look into that one for himself too.
He gave me a script for some more testing in 3 months and said if there is anything else I want tested, write it in as he trusts my judgement. He actually said he enjoys my visits as he's learning as much about trt by me as I am by him. Stopped at the compounding pharmacy on way home and if I had time to wait (1/2 hr) I could have walked with it. He also gave me a free 1 mo supply of Cialis for daily use until I see if my insurance will cover it. Nice Doc!

You're going to love that 5 mg Cialis
Does much more then help your junk...many positive benefits...and wait till you see your pumps in the gym. My Doc is on it now as well. Go to PubMed.com and do some searches on low dose 5m Tadalafil and read. Really good for you!

Well, I started on Saturday and by monday I had very bad anxiety, lethargy, nervousness, otherwise feelings I'm not used to, etc. GD and I have PM'd about it and he had occassion to speak to his pharmacist who recommended cutting the dose down and slowly building up to the recommended dosage. I cut it in half yesterday and all sides are gone. Will stay here for a short while then up to 3/4 dose then full dosage. I will stick with it based on knowledge gained here and from research.
GD said he had some minor sides himself initially but not as bad as mine. Everyone responds differently.
GD, chime in!

BTW, I also had a little anxiety when I started but it subsided in a couple few weeks.Last edited by steroid.com 1; 09-25-2011 at 04:05 PM.
