    Trying to figure out what is going on

    Okay so my last blood work about 3 weeks ago my doc wanted me to drop my dosage down from 250mgs to 200mgs every week. I was reluctant at first because of the whole mind thinking of more is better. But then I got tired of my wife having to pick at my bacne every night, I thought maybe I will try the 200mgs to at least see if it might help with that. So the last two weeks I have been doing 200mgs every week. I kept my AI at the 3 mg dosage a week and my HCG at the same dosage.

    Strange thing is that in the last two weeks I have had more people ask me if I have lost weight. Had one guy say something to my wife. Another woman asked my wife how much weight I had lost. Funny thing is that the scale says exactly the same before I dropped the dosage. Now I can notice a little difference in my stomach area in the mirror but all these people saw me and I had a shirt on. So I can't figure out what is going on. Could it be that the drop in dosage took some of the water retention out? Could my estrogen be too low and giving me a drier look? I just can't figure it out. Another thing is that my strength has not gone down. If anything it has gone up some.

    Any ideas on what could be happening. Not that I am complaining, but I would like for the scale number to drop.

    My only advice is to focus more on overall appearance rather than the scale.

    x2. People get too focused on the scale & pounds alone. Work every body part in the gym, to your max & consistently. In one year you'll look so much better, it wont matter what the scale says...

    Stepped on the scale this morning and it read 257lbs. Thats down about 8 pounds for me. Funny thing is I am not losing my strength still. Worked chest yesterday with a buddy of mine. Flat bench 135x10, 225x10, 315x7, 315x5, 225x12, 135x30...The seven reps at 315 is a PR for me. I am shooting to get 405 up on October 29th. I was there when he first got up 405 and now he is going to spot me when I attempt it. Got a Halloween party that night so I hope to be celebrating an accomplishment that I have been striving for for over 6 months.

    body image and how you feel is the key..throw scales away as they make people paranoid.

    Interesting; never heard of this happening. Let me ask you, how are your erections? Maybe a little more difficult to get a real strong hard-on?

    Could very well be E2 related. 3 mg AI on 200 mg Test is a bit much. I think you had pretty decent E2 levels prior didn't you???

    No problem at all with erections. There so damn hard a cat couldn't scratch them. LOL!!!

    I did have decent E2 last blood work. I am thinking about calling the doc and seeing when I need to come back in to do blood work. But the last blood work was good.

    x3 on biggy and api

    fyi....ofcourse your not going to see any difference in strength by changing your trt dose from 250-200 or vice versa..


    sounds like your on a good roll in the right direction...use it to snowball it in the right direction...is the 405 goal more important than losing bf%?

    I cannot agree more. I went on TRT, started lifting heavy, tightened up my diet and my body completely changed without my weight changing. I consistently put on muscle and lost fat. The mirror, or accurate BF testing is the only way to know how your body is doing.

    The main reason I dropped it down to 200mgs was to see if it would help with the bacne...which it has some. Thought about maybe even dropping to 150 to see if it helped any more.

    The 405 goal is a BIG one for me, but honestly I would rather look better with a shirt off. BUT....I WILL GET 405 UP OCTOBER 29TH. I alrady tried about two weeks ago and I got stuck about 6-8" off my chest. My buddy that I spotted just got up 415 last week for one rep. So that will be the next goal of mine. Alot of the problem with my bench is that I am really shoulder dominate, so my shoulders do a lot of work instead of my pecs. When I work out chest I really have to focus on my chest and not just about moving the weight. My buddy is only 5'9 and 210lbs...so it kind of bothers me that he out benches me. But we push each other in the gym. But he still gives me a hard time sometimes about it. Of course I can out lift him in other areas.

    i see well maybe that goal will also help with the fat loss...thats a big bench ....are your other big lifts also well like deads squats etc....

    I don't really go that big on squats because I can't do it correctly for some reason. My back always tends to go forward on me. So I mainly stay with the sled. I have done over a 1,000 on the sled. It was 12 plates on each side. Repped it for 3 times. I am just now getting into dead lifts to see if I can get my back bigger. I have worked up to 315 repped for 8 times.

    I hope the 405 goal happens. I will be dissapointed if it does not.

    i hear ya..hope it does too and i know you wanted to be more fit as well...those deads are going to make you...stay strict with your lifts bro...no injuries! i know wut your saying about squats, they are hard to be strict so i go light

    It certainly could be your t to e ratio is better now and you are not holding as much water. Could just be your body likes the new dose better bro - go with it and enjoy.

    I am definately going to keep with the dosage I have right now. I need to call and see when my next blood work is due. I believe it has been about 5-6 weeks since my last draw. When i first started I was going about every 6 weeks to get everything dialed in but the last two draws showed results I was hoping for so I might try and wait a little bit longer this time.

    Good luck. My doc told me 400ml a month is as high as he can write a script for. 200ml every two weeks.

    I am trying to bench 405, not 405 ml.

    That's alright. Lol. Yea I'm on 100ml a week and about a couple weeks in it. Did you get 405 on your bench?

    I motherfvcking got it. And it was definately all there. My buddy was not able to be there due to work so I did it with another guy spotting me. Going to do it again with my buddy this Friday to get verification. Just one of those things. LOL!!! I know I got it but he wants to see it. No big deal. Just an agreement between friends. I spotted him when he got 405 for the first tome.

    Yeah it felt great to get it. It was a goal of mine and I accomplished it. Now its time to cut weight give the body a rest from heavy weights and plan out a blast I want to do in January.
