    Just started TRT!

Well I had my blood work drawn for labs today, should hear my levels in the morning, but due to my history of steroid usage and my current symptoms, the doc went ahead and gave me my first injection of test cyp

Said he is looking to get me to around 1000 and keep me steady in that range, will also be putting me on arimidex and hcg .

Happy to finally join the ranks and hopefully get back to a feeling of normalcy here soon...I've sat around suffering from the side effects of low T for way too long and it has put undue stress on my marriage and life in general and just knowing I am started on the road to recovery has me in much better spirits

My MD has kept me at around 1100 bc my free is in 75th percentile. He asks how I'm feeling...if all ok he leaves it alone. AI is a must though. I'm fortunate I know.

I'm just happy my doc wasted no time getting me started....once I explained how much I knew and my history of running a few cycles, he didn't want me to have to come back again for my first injection since he was pretty confident my test levels would come back low

I'm taking some pictures and measurements tomorrow so I keep track of my physical progress. The main reasons I started TRT were purely health-related (both physical/mental) but I will also be keeping a detailed record of weight/fat loss as well as my journey back to being in decent physical shape....somewhere between where I was before my first cycle and while on-cycle

Congrats on getting started, although I believe the effects you are feeling are likely just mental....it takes a few weeks for the cyp to build up.

Sounds good, but injecting before results? Will you be self injecting from here on out?

I like what he's saying but still. I knew my E2 was high but did not start taking an AI until I had the results back.

Post up your results when you get them and good luck with your protocol.

I'm six weeks in now and things are looking (and feeling) good......except that my Dr. is classically ignorant when it comes to TRT. At least yours knows what a basic TRT protocol consists of.

He basically said 1 injection wouldn't hurt if my blood tests said otherwise, but he and I both agreed that it's highly likely that I need TRT.

I won't be starting on an AI just yet, the only thing he started me on early was the cyp. I will post my blood results as soon as I get them, kind of worried my PSA will be high since I had sex the day before and I know that increases PSA levels

Sexual Intercourse or ejaculation – a PSA test should only be performed more than 24 hours after sex or ejaculation.

I booked my tests today for friday .. so no humping for me for a few day .

It was actually just over 24hrs and my PSA levels came back normal

I still can't believe my total T was just 99, but that is a great lesson to folks who are thinking about cycling early and not doing a proper PCT protocol

    Quick question:

My wife and I will be trying to get pregnant in the next year or so, and obviously I have just started TRT....is there any way I will be able to get her pregnant while on TRT, or should I come off before hand?

Is hCG part of your TRT protocol?

BTW, you can get prego on TRT contrary to popular belief.

Then assuming you are still producing, and with the addition of hCG , I don't see any reason to come off...that's just my opinion.

Hell, hCG is a fertility drug in and of itself!

i guess the easy way to find out is to do a test and see if you have sperm in your semen while you are on TRT.

2 injections of cyp, 2 injections of hCG , also on arimidex .

Already noticing improvements in my mental state, dropped a few pounds, libido is starting to ramp back up.....and I know my test levels are nowhere near where they plan on taking me :-)

I guess anything is an improvement when your starting test level is 99 lol
