TRT, libido and other hormones getting out of whack
Is anyone on a stable dosage of T and maybe with an AI and they dont have to worry about other hormones going out of whack and causing ED, low libido etc...
For example, they never worry about E2 going to high or low, prolactin going to high, progesterone. And their SHBG and E2 always stay around the same level. Their thyroid and adrenals are always spot on and never get out of whack. Their sexual function is just like before you became hypogonadal? Or are their people who have to continuously have to mess around dicking with their hormones whenever they lose libido? in other words; are your erections and libido always there everyday or do you sometimes lose libido because of other hormones going out of whack?

On a steady dose of T and I seem to fluctuate on the libido thing. Not sure why...and my doctors are not interested in testing for E2, SHGB, etc. When I tell my endo that my libido could be better, he sort of just looks at me funny. I suppose that other hormones "going out of whack" could be part of the problem. I'd like to get that teenager feeling back again. Have had it a few times during my TRT and each time it seemed to be attributable to an increase in the T dosage, but then fades with time. Dunno.

I have been on the same Test dose since starting nearly a year ago. My E2 continues to stay low, and my blood work has always been good. Libido is always solid. Never had a problem with erections.
I would think a steady dose of Test would give you consistent blood work once things have stabilized.

I am a screwed up case, the more test I add the lower my E2 goes, I was on 150 shot and my e2 was 7 with no AI I started HCG and I think my E2 went up and I hope it does because having it too low sucks, my knees kill my and I get dry skin and hair. Getting more bloodwork this Friday.
Also I think everyone is different but to me I only have 3 things to tweek, Gel, HCG, and a AI if needed so it's not too bad. What I plan to do is when I feel best get my bloodwork done and have a idea of what my levels are so I can keep it around that range.

Low E2 on higher Test? That is strange.
Converstion of E2 to T is mostly via Free T. Do you know how your free T has fluctuated from before to now? My SHBG did go down after I started TRT, which meant my free T to total T ratio went up.
After I stabalized at a fixed dose of T, my E2 and AI requirements pretty much stayed the same. There were times when I tried other things and this changed my E2 levels. The thing with me is that libido was affected very little by low E2. Joints, now that's a different story. Low E2 and my joints screamed! High E2 and my nipples screamed!
