TRT so far after 4 injections
I am very impressed, my energy level is a lot higher, i feel a lot better, my body is slowly starting to change even if i don't lift weights right now due to injury.
I inject with 21 gauge syring and can say they are the best for me, injection day as become a habit and i lost my fear of needles. After doing some reseach on the internet and finding out that many orthopedic and medical doctor like mine practice prolotherapy with HGH and testosterone therapy i decided to treat myself with this as well. My medical doctor showed me where i need to inject in the hip to stop that awful snapping. Today i injected my 1cc near the hip inside of the tights near the labral. I could not beleive how everything went so smooth, and again i felt nothing. I just put the needle and push with a little bit of pressure, no stabing, just light pushing. the needle went inside the hip joint just fine and i am sure i reach the problem area. Now with my PRP treatment working in that area, and the addition of Test E 1CC per week i am going to repair myself silly.
I was unable to get HGH because my medical doctor said you can get too much of a good thing, sad because i would have injected that too.
The pain from the hip injection is far less then when i get regular dextrose or PRP, i feel tightness but that is it.
Side effect, i got some light acne, and that is about it, right now i am sick i got a cold, i wonder if test E suppresses the immune system a bit? might be nothing too because everyone around me is sick so... darn Canadian winter......
I am sure that if everything goes well i will be in the gym by summer. My weight is now at 225 pounds but my gut is smaller, this is insane.
I dont want to imagine what i will look like in 6 months, i am glad to say that cravings while on TRT are back to normal. I can also eat a bit more carbs without paying the price, but still i am not over eating them either.

what is your protocol?
how long is the 21g. needle?
why wait until summer, i recommend reading this to explain why you need to hit teh gym now!
http://forums.steroid.com/showthread...and-this-board.
what are your stats?
don't expect HRT to reshape your body on its own, you need to work hard at the gym and clean your diet, and don't think you can eat more carbs without paying the price! HRT is not a magic pill!
glad you are feeling good!

I cannot hit the gym yet because of chronic pains that plaigue me still, upper neck pain, the hip is still an issue. 21g is around 2 inches long. I know that many like to use smaller needles but for me i am sold on 21g.
I am planing on getting a tailored made diet for me, my medical doctor as some special dieticien at the clinic that works with BW, and really builds the diet around your blood work results. I have seen some amazing results come out of this.

21 g? 2" long? My non-atrophied testicles – thank you HCG – just shriveled up to nothing!
When I do go IM, I use 27 g 1/2" into the thigh. I hope you are going into the glutes with that harpoon and you have the fattest ass around.

I dont wanna hijack this thread so sorry but bluemilk i saw u use 1/2" 27g strait into The thigh ... I had askd around previously about the prospect of using 30g 1/2" into quad and was told it was not long enuff??? The doc tat told me about it said its how he personally injects himself and wat he recommends to his patients... Sounded good to me but others on here said u need 1" into quad... How has the 1/2" workd out for u As far as BW and how u feel goes??? And again sry to threadjack...

Damn, that's a scary a$$ pin sounds like one of those lawn darts.
25G 5/8" goes perfect in any muscle.

Well theses needles are fine for me and no i don't have a fat a$$ thank you. I don't harpoon it either.
You think that is scary, i got prolotherapy in the hip joint with a 6 inch needle to reach the hip joint.
I just does not hurt, i just put the needle and put slight pressure nothing hard or anything and it goes in fine.
Using test E for prolo is even better but you need to reach the joint or ligament to repair. This will not happen if you sub Q or inject 1 inch in the muscle.

Even if you dont mind using such a large needle you might consider going to a smaller size as scar tissue is going to be an issue in years to come, just a suggestion.

21g? That is crazy talk!
I was using 23g and recently went to 25g. I like that the 25g helps me inject more slowly. I would go too fast before.
Sounds like you are having some of the same problems that I was having. I was out the gym for almost six years because of a spinal injury. I would try to get back every six months and the pain would be unbearable after a few workouts. I started light and strict after a few weeks on TRT and was able to start lifting heavy again after a couple of months. I still have problems with legs and shoulders (spinal compression) but work around my injuries and have had great results.
To date (since January 1) I have put on over 20 pounds of muscle and lost 40 pounds of fat. Definitely get your diet in line. I kick myself for not doing that at the start. This is going to be great, I can't wait to see how you do.

BTW JohnnyVegas these are very impressive results you got. My diet is in check now i cut out all crap, sugar, and also reduced cafeine, i drink a lot more water, and upped the protein in my diet, i try to get around 100g and 150g per day, from food and i added a whey shake with 2 whole eggs and some glutamine.Last edited by yannick35; 11-21-2011 at 12:12 AM.

I am 39 years old, 5 feet 10 inches before TRT i was around 215-217 and i am now 225, give or take a few pounds. Everything is getting bigger except the gut which is amazing.
I seemed to have lost the ability to lose fat a long time ago, and realize that i might have had Low T for a very long time.
I have been put on 200ML per 7 days, 1CC of Test E.

Something i keep reading on here and am very confused about. Slow injection vs fast one?
Even at 21 gauge Test E goes in very slow? also once the Testosterone is inside the body and you massage the area what difference does it make if its injected fast or slow? i mean 200mg is 200mg.
Would be good if someone can shed light on this. Thanks guy your are awsome, my love for bodybuilding is coming back strong, the flame never died but it was really low theses past years with chronic injury.

The chin up test:
For me chin ups done correctly that is, no bouncing start from floor and pull yourself up slowly chest touching bar and lower slowly, as always been my hardest exercise. At my prime at 25 yeras old with the help of creatine monohydrate i was able to do 4 sets of 10 reps, i was at that time 204 pounds. Now at 39 before TRT i was barely able to lift myself in the middle of the bar once, the struggling was amazing to get that one horrible rep, of course i had some pains in the forarms, hands, knuckles, wrist. Pains i never had before this summer.
The chin up test, i do it at my job, we got this old shower and the iron bar is solid in the wall. Before starting TRT i was at 217 pounds. After 1 month of TRT and my fourth injection yesterday i am at 225 pounds, i am happy to say i can lift myself 2 times in complete control, no more shaking and all the pain i described above are gone.
This is insane.
This summer i got up to 231 pounds, and yes lots of it was fat, so i decided to start a diet, and walk, since walking was again my only option.
I was having huge pains in the chins, chinsplints when walking, i had to cut my walks really short.
Now at 225 since starting TRT this is also gone, i know because me and my girlfriend go for long walks sometimes 2 hours and we do have to climb some hills and stuff.
Guess that my medical doctor is a genious and TRT was the missing ingredient to make my life worth living again

Also before TRT i used to sleep close to 16 hours a day, i work 3 days a week on 12 hours shifts, but i never seemed to find my energy. After lunch i got so tired, my eyes closed by themselves. I had to try every trick in the book to stay awake.
This summer i tought it was because of my lack of activity, say what you want to say but cardio give me a lot of energy, pushing a lot of oxygen in the blood.
I also tought that since it was hay fever and allergy season it might be that too. And last but not least the chronic pain. I was also supplementing with ZMA and melatonin so i tought that both of theses supplements would make me more tired.
I would wake up at 12pm at night and go watch a movie infront of the TV, then go to bed at 2am or so and never feel rested no mather how much i slept.
I have seen that in the symptoms of low testoeterone level and sleeping disorder.
Since starting TRT, the first week or so i felt no benefits at all, but after my third injections things started to get better, my sleeping patern where back to normal. I have added ZMA and melatonin back and they work amazing.
I can work my whole 12 hour shift, feel energize, when most of my work buddies start to have low energy around 3pm i feel great. Of course cutting out sugar help for this too but even then.
If i am feeling like this 1 month in i cannot wait to see how i feel after 6 months.
