anastrrozole and erection problems
my last blood test showed my estradiol level at 40 p/ml which the dr feels is to high. he started me on 1 mg of anastrazole twice a week and i just started to have erection problems. this is the 2nd time ive taken this medication with the same results. unless its a fluke you would assume its being caused by the anastrazole. does anyone have any experience or insight for this. thanks

That's probably too much. Driving your E2 too low can definitely kill your erection.
Try half that amount and break it up over the week......then see were you are at.
How much Testosterone are you on?

1mg of Arimidex for every 100mg of Testosterone !
So do it like this...
.5mg twice a week and you'll get better!

Doctors seem to go on the higher side of things, no need for too much chemicals in your body!

the guys are correct, way too much AI! even though your e2 was elevated a little it was still in the normal range, so it doesn't take much AI to reduce it, based on m y experience .5 a week is all you need, split that into 1/4s. of course every one reacts differently but you definitely have to cut your AI intake.

Gary - Was your E2 test "Sensitive" or "Ultra Sensitive"?
This is critical to know as the standard assay can and will over estimate a males E2 panel. In other words, you may not have been at 40 pg/ml; you could have been much lower if you had the "Sensitive" assay. As a result, your Doc may have over prescribed and therefore tanking your E2 levels and now your neg sides are showing.
Find out what the assay was, it's important.
