Androgel + Novedex XT?
Im 19 and on Androgel which brought me test levels from 280 ng/dl to 700 ng/dl. I was recently given Novedex XT by my brother would this have any benefit for me considering I dont really have natural test levels to boost? Would there be any potential negatives?
Thanks

I don't have any experience with Novedex XT. It is supposed to be a sort of aromatase inhibitor, but I don't know how effective it is as say, compared to arimidex . I don't think it actually boosts your test. levels...if it works, it may prevent your body from turning the test. you are getting with the gel into estrogen (E2). But, you can also get an AI like arimidex to do that and it is proven to work.

Post recent BW. Your 19 yrs old. Did your doc say why your T levels were so low? What is the underlying issue bringing you to this point at such a young age? Have you cycled in the past? This is something to avoid if at all possible unless it's medically necessary. TRT is for life.

Don't waste your time getting OTC, if you are on a prescribed Testosterone dose, just get on a prescribed AI (if you need an AI, whats your E2 at).
Almost all of the OTC stuff is complete junk anyways. That isnt just heresay, I was actually on Inhibit-e in the beginning of my TRT, and my E2 came back at 112! Its junk...

Yea ive seen multiple doctors who cant seem to figure out why my T levels are so low. I had a pituitary scan and a testicle exam and both seem to be fine. I never took steroids in my life. The only thing i took was hgh because i wasnt growing and none of my doctors seem to think they are related. Also my dad didnt hit puberty until like 17 and my doctors dont think that is related either. Unfortunately it looks like ill be on trt the rest of my life. My doc hasnt checked my E2 or my estriadol despite the fact that my nipples are getting puffy and there seems to be some fat accumulation.
I realize that a prescription AI would be better but considering I have novedex would it be ok to take?
I dont know too much about this stuff I just started reading around the internet now as it seems like I cant just trust my docs 100%

Nolvadex won't do anything to lower your E2. You will need to be looking at AI's for controlling E2. Nolvadex (The real stuff) will help with nipple stuff and gyno symptoms, but just know it won't have any effect with lowering the E2. As Kelkel mentioned, please post up your lab results w/ ranges.
Before they put you on Androgel , did they run a lab for LH & FSH?

Range 11/11/11 06/24/11
Test Serum 280,800 ng/gl 699 283
Free Test 7.2,24.0 pg/ml 13.8 4.5
T4 Free .82,1.77 ng/dl 1.44
TSH .450,4.500 UIU/ML 2.19
LH 1.7, 8.6 MIU/ML 2.6
FSH 1.5, 12.4 MIU/ML 5.8
Thats all that seemed relevant to me. I was never tested for E2 or Estradiol. I had my prolactin tested which came back normal but I dont have the actual numbers. For whatever reason I cant space it out so I bolded the numberes related to the most recent test and underlined the numbers related to my first blood test. Yea novadex xt is the otc stuff. So I shouldnt take it cause it wont really do anything? Also could some one let me know if my free test is where its supposed to be at 13.8ng/ml I know its within the range but is that a decent level for a 19 year old?

ask your doc for some real nolva. It will help your body become more sensitive to LH which would help boost that. Your LH is low, you may wanna ask about using SERMs instead of test-gel.
