HRT Syringe Size

My doctor wont let me do my own shots so what syringe size, Gauge and inches do I need?

ive lookd into this and dont have alot of experience at all but from what ive gathered im doing 75mg 2x/week so im using 18g 1" to draw, 25g 5/8" in delt,25g 1" quad, 25g 1 1/2" glute

I figured 18' to draw and 25 to inject into glute but was wondering if 1 inch would suffice

1" is not long enough unless you have no fat on your ass! you will need 1.5" and have it bottom out until you see dent on the butt. most of us draw with 21 g. and inject with 23 g. x 1.5". 18 g. may leave a big hole in the rubber stopper from repeated use!

i wondered about that.. so far ive drawn with 25 and not had much of a prob.. good to know i also read somewhere if u heat up the oil itd come out easier but im not sure how to go about that without worrying about damaging it in some way..

also what do u do with the rubber stopper wipe it with alcohol every time cuz i tried to put the cap back on and it wont stay...

Do not heat up the oil. And yes wipe the top of the vial with 1 swipe across it before drawing. And just in case you didn't know when you prepare your injection site start with the alcohol wipe in the center and wipe in an outward circle and dont go over the same area with that same wipe. Also use 2 wipes 1 for the vial and 1 for your skin.

25g 5/8" no ass or leg fat goes anywhere, delts are a favorite.

Doc told me to use the 25g 5/8" but when I went to get it filled the pharmacist told me that I needed to use a 23g 1" because the 25 would take forever to push the oil out and that the 5/8" was to short. My doc told he had been doing some studying on the sub q administration of T and that it was showing to work as well as IM shots. I just took the larger 23g 1" pins that the pharmacist wanted to give me to shut her up. I had 3 shots already 2 in the glute and one in the quad with absolutely no pain or issues. Actually the first shot I thought the needle broke off. I placed it on my glute and pushed in slowly. It just slipped in with no pain so i I thought it must of broke off or something. All my injections have been like this so I see no need to change to the 25g unless someone can tell me a good reason.

The 23g is able to push the oil faster then the 25g. Now I take my time but this is what I hear.

my doc was not willing to prescribe needles to inject at home until I left country...

you may warm the vial in water/hot wash cloth if you so choose - see no issues with that - have done it many times.

I ran 25ga. 1" in the quads for a while...no problems drawing or injecting. Never did the glutes, but may have liked that area better. I also ran 29ga. 1/2" slin pin into the quads at two injections per week for a while. Drawing took some patience, but injecting was pretty easy.

I draw with a 22 and shoot with a 27 1 1/4" into my quads. Truthfully 25 felt the same as 27 to me but I have a large supply of 27's for now.

draw out with a 21 then switch to 25g and cap. Repeat 3 times. You are done drawing for the month.

or draw with 18 or 21 and backfill 8 slin pin's to pin twice per week.

Did you try to use a 18g and backfill the slin's? Might be easier instead of trying to draw.

not as...and i worry the syringe cap wont keep it from pushing forward...no need to preload...takes less than 3 minutes to draw switch and inject

I thought the same thing about it leaking out..... from temp change or being bumped or whatever, I wouldn't sleep at night thinking about even a drop being wasted.

i'm sure its crossed many of our minds that like to do things ahead of time and have them ready....i may have even done it early on when i used to also sleep with the vial under my pillow..
one thing i will admit i only tried for the first time this week was pulling the test back out of the pin before the switch of the needles...in 6 years maybe i threw away a whole vial? lol

Yeeeeaaa buddy!! Not only that but if you leave a tiny bit of air in the syringe and then aim slightly downward when you inject, that little bit of air will push the last several drops of test out of the needle barrel and into your ass cheek or quad where it belongs........now you'll be saving twice as much test in the next several years, probably enough for a nice blast.
