Going to see the doc tomorrow
Going to go see the doc tomorrow and get some blood work done. Been 7.5 months since starting TRT so I want to know where I am. Plus its been about 2.5 months since my last draw. Going to also try and push for the injectable HCG . Even though I don't really care to be adding an additional two shots per week, but I think it will be better for me than the sublingual I have been on. If he is hesitant I have a source I can get it from and may go that rout.
GDevine I have made a list of all the blood work you PMed me to get checked. So I am hoping to have a full blood panel to post up sometime next week.
Is there any thing you guys suggest I talked to him about since I am basically a 1/2 year into TRT. Any thing you might have found out at your 6 month mark.
Also he put me on B12 injections last time I saw him, but I haven't really noticed any improvement since taking that so I don't know if I should continue or not.
Any ideas or suggestions on topics to discuss would be appreciated.

Guess you are feeling good/great still? B12 only increased my appetite.

Excellent. It's an exciting time to see where you are at 6 months...even me annually now...like yesterday.
You got it tight NSM no doubt and I bet you'll be surprised at your results.
It's funny, I go straight to the hormone panels first, Thyroid panels second and all others third...

Doctors appointment went great. I think I donated blood they took so much. LOL!!!
I gave the doc the list of stuff I wanted to get checked in my blood work and he just laughed and said somebody is doing their home work. Thanks Gdevine for the list.
I also got him to finally give me the injectable HCG . 10,000 units of the powder. So Gdevine I will need help with mixing this and the dosages I am supposed to take. Also when do you take it in relation to your shot. He had to write the prescription like I was doing it for the weight loss for insurance. So I told him I thought you dosed it at 250 i.u. twice a week. He said yes, but he had also seen guys go 125 i.u. a week. I am kind of nervous about pinning myself with this. My wife does my Test injections for me. Maybe I can talk her into this also. LOL!!!
Got a couple of samples of Cialis also.
All of my prescriptions refilled. Even my Test, even though I just got that filled 3 weeks ago from them.
I swear its like going into a candy store when I go see him.

I'm jealous that sounds like early christmas. Still waiting to start, although if doc would prescribe hcg off the bat I would start now.

DUDE! It's so great to see when things go right for guys here My Doc, a true TRT Physician, is great and the same way. You are in good care!
Mixing hCG is easy, just a few things to be careful about. Surprised you got 10,000 and not 5,000 but it's no big deal. The reason here is hCG has a limited shelf life 60 - 90 days so reconstituting 5,000 will go short then 10,000.
I assume when you got your hCG you got the bacteriostatic water as well?
You will want to draw 4/ml of the water into a syringe. When you go to inject the water into the vial containing the freeze dried hCG make sure that you hold the plunger tight on the syringe. There is a vacum in the hCG vial and it will want to pull the water out to fast causing damage to the hCG mocules. So, as you hold the plunger tightly, slowly release the water to the inside of the vial and not on top of the hCG and let it slowly release.
Once done DO NOT SHAKE the vial. Simple roll it gently in the palms of your hands for a few seconds and refrigerate. Remember, the hCG molecule is fragile so make sure the vial is not placed on the frige door. Put it in a safe place.
As for hCG protocols, there are many takes on it. Crisler likes 350 iu two and one day before Test injection. Nothing wrong with that.
I like more consistency so I do 250 iu every other day. Smaller more frequent doses...my Doc loves it and so do I.
Using an insulin pin pull back to the 10 mark (1/2 CC syringe) and that will give you the 250 iu.
Pinch a fat pad on your stomach (stay away from the belly button to many veins and nerves) like any love handle you may have and inject.
Simple and painless and wait to you see how you will feel! Oh, by the way, you will feel a kick in libido as well. It's a wonderful drug IMO!
Cialis is GREAT! Of the three classes of PDE5-I I think it's the best hands down. It gets into the blood stream much faster than the other two and lasts up to 36 hours!!! A 20 mg on the weekend is great. I take the daily 5 mg per day for many reasons beyond ED (which I really don't have but a little helps never hurts if you dig what I am saying).
If your insurance doesn't cover the daily use you can get it from online pharmacies who source worldwide at a fraction of the US costs.

I have tried the Cialis before. Not everyday. Just when I want to have a little extra "kick" with the wife. No ED problems here either.
You know I have been using the sublingual HCG, but I just basically told him I don't think it is working.
So let me as you...If I do my shot on Thursday, I should do an HCG shot on Wednesday? What if that is the same day I take one of my AI's? What about the other shot of HCG? I don't know that I can do EOD shots. Maybe I will be able to stand it once I do it the first time and see how it goes. Then I will decide if I want to do it every other day.
I might have to get back to you on the mixing of the HCG after I get the prescription filled.
Can't wait to see what my blood work says.
I am currently trying to drop some body fat in order to do a blast sometime after the first of the year. I want to be as lean as possible before I do it though.

Sounds like you have a lot of HCG . What did the doctor prescribe, how many IU per week? You take the HCG two day's before your test shot split. So if you inject Test on Thursday and you are prescribed 1000iu per week then you take 500iu on Tues. and 500iu on Wednesday.

Yeah I keep my sublingual HCG in the door. I guess I need to find a new place. Maybe the fruit/vegetable drawer since I know my kids will never open it up. LOL

Do you have to go to a compounding pharmacy for the HCG powder or do places like CVS or Wallgreens carry it?

Scripts for HCG can be filled at CVS etc...

Sublingual HCG is a scam, no question about it!
For a molecule to diffuse through the membranes under the tongue, it has to be of reasonable size...something no greater than a molecular weight of 900 or so.
HCG has a molecular weight of around 37,000 so there's no way it will pass though the sublingual tissues.
That's why, for example, you can't administer insulin (with a MW of just under 6000) sublingually.
The only study I've ever read on the efficacy of sublingual HCG was written by one of the makers and their study left open the possibility that any favorable effect could be due to contaminates from the manufacturing process!

Sublingual hCG is available by prescription. I believe it is micronized which reduces particle size and increases metabolic uptake.
These are men here who take it orally. (Hmm, does that sound right)

Well my theory (which of course has absolutely no supporting data!) is that during the manufacturing process, the HCG molecule, which has two subunits (one of which is the same one found in LH), is partially degraded into fragments.
Some of these low molecular weight fragments, which could be absorbed sublingually, might elicit an LH-type response.
So you might get some minor effect, but nothing at all like you will receive from the SQ route.
Like I mentioned, otherwise you could take insulin sublingually, if MW was not a barrier for absorption.

Just want to confirm, but I DO NOT want the compounding pharmacy to mix my HCG , correct? I need to do it myself.

It depends on how much you have. IF you buy just a month's worth at a time I would let them mix it up. I think it's good for up to 60 day's after it's mixed.

If I could, I'd like to jump in and ask for a list of those blood works to ask for. I'm going to the doctor friday to ask to be put on HCG . Already printed out the link I was advised to take with me.

This what all I asked for. The list came from GDevine a while back. He might have more to add to the list, but this is what I got tested, on top of the other stuff they already test for.
• Total Testosterone
• Bioavailable Testosterone
• Free Testosterone (if Bioavailable T is still unavailable)
• Estradiol (specify “sensitive” assay for males)
• LH
• FSH
• CBC
• Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
• Lipid Profile
• PSA (for those over 40 with Family Hx of prostate CA, >45 yo. all others)
• IGF-1, IGFBP-3 (if GH Therapy has been initiated already)

thanks for the list gdevine. Like I said I've got the link Hcg and Pregnenolone; what you should know. Also the link an Update to the Crisler HCG Protocol, and gdevines blood work list to ask to be drawn. When I get the rugrats in the bed I'm gonna start studying over it, anything else I should be prepared for when seeing the doctor and asking to be put on HCG, AND is there anything else I might need to ask about? I thought I read on someones post, like bass or gdevine that there was one more thing you should be taking if doing trt? Started with an A, but I can't find the post now.
Nosupermodel was there anything your physician was concerned about when it came to HCG? Anything I should be ready to counter attack with.

No he did not have any reservation about it. You might be thinking about an Arinitose inhibitor like Arimidex .
