T Dosage Question

My endo has put me on 350mg of Test every two weeks. Had a friend go with me to the endo to show her how to do the first injection. I am going to do the injections myself (which the doctor doesn't want me to do). Unfortunately my friend does not remember how much she put in the first syringe. I paid close attention to everything except the dosage - assuming the prescribed amount would easily translate to the units on the syringe (i.e. ml to ml). Not the case....

The syringes I bought are in ml and I am not sure how to convert 350mg to ml. Help please.

The vial you are drawing from should list the dosage. More than likely it is 250 mg/ml, which means there is 250 mg in each ml

Test-cyp typically comes as 200 mg/ml so you would need 350/200 = 1.75 mL.

That's really a mega-dose for just starting out, or do you have a prior history of test use?

Additionally, the smart way is to divide the dose and use half each week. Many guys would use 1/4 twice a week.

Are you taking HCG or an aromatase inhibitor in addition?

Would enjoy hearing about the events that led you up to getting on TRT. Presumed the endo ran all the needed panels, determined if you're primary or secondary, discussed E2 and AI's, HCG if you're secondary, etc? Well, I'm probably pressing my luck with the presumptions, seeing that the doctor is giving you 350mg e2w's (not good), and is against self administering.

200 ew is considered a high end dose, 100 ew is a low starting dose. i agree most of us started on 200 but that doesn't mean it was a good protocol to start with.

So if you say 100 is low and 200 is high - then 175 ought to be in the range of okay by you??????

I am still on 200/week and it works just fine for me there bass. INDIVIDUAL - remember that word?

Obviously the OP will need to follow up with bw and monitor his overall wellness and sides to determine where he should end up.

i was agreeing with you regarding most of us started at 200, but my understanding and i believe most of us here would agree that 200 is the high end of the protocol, not saying its bad or good, i was just giving ranges so the OP know what the common ranges are!

Whoa.... didn't realize there was a discussion going on about my RX. Got my answer and moved on....
The endo I was using was quiet old and was happy to give me an RX if I was willing to sit and talk with him for and hour! Shortly after getting the RX he retired. So now I am getting Test RX from my family practitioner at 250mg E2W. I have been doing this for over a year and a half now.
Reading your advise here, I will likely start taking half every week. I am also looking into HGH starting at 2IU/day for 4wks, and then ramping up by 0.5iu per week until 4iu. On 6 off 1. Comments...?
