Thread: Doctor question

    Doctor question

So I viewed a thread here that took you to a link that recommended HRT doctors in your area. My PCP is old school and not willing to help me at all. My question or at least my first question is how do you screen HRT/ LEF doctors before scheduling an appointment? Had blood work done last week and my total Test was 671, whichis a you all know, fairly good for a 40 year old. So without the symptoms of low test to fall back on, I pretty much have to tell the doctor the truth. Which is that I want to bulk up.

Another question is does insurance cover AAS and what kind of prices am I looking at. I have good benefits, but not a surplus of extra cash. So I am trying to get as much of my next cycle cover as possible.

If anyone knows of a good forwarding thinking physician in the Tampa Bay area and would like to share it, please PM it to me.

I keep seeing AAG Health group online, anyone used the physicians there?

Not likely you are going to get any doctor support on this. Sounds like if you want to take steroids you will have to do it like everyone else. With a proper diet and solid test level like that you should still be able to add some quality mass.

I use AAG and their service is top notch and they are proactive with all protocals. The downside is they are $$$.

    They charged me:

    $500 for blood work
    $500 for DR visit
$2400 for 6 month tharapy at 150mg per week test. 1mg per wek AI, and 1000 units per week of HCG.

    Good Luck

Agree with SEOINAGE. The whole point of seeing a HRT doctor is just for that, Hormone Repla***ent. Who knows, maybe you tell your doctor the "truth", and he/she rolls with it. However, most will follow their hippocratic oath to do no harm to their patients. So, prescribing a patient testosterone when he has a 671 total serum level would be rather unlikely.

Also, JMHO, 671 isn't "fairly" good for being 40, it's actually great!! Depending on what your free and bio-available panels say, you could be sitting in a great position for optimal health!

Just a FYI ... Unless you see them directly in FL, they network with various doctors throughout the US; many of which are A4M affiliated. Find one of these doctors on your own and you will eliminate a fair amount of that excessive cost variable. I know one who networks with them out of state, and the patient's costs will be virtually cut in half if they work with him directly.

671... you're not looking for TRT as you say.

If you found a doctor who treated you... I would be very suprised.... so as you figure this is really the wrong forum to ask such a question.

That's a really nice test level, I would hate to screw it up by messing with androgens simply for muscle at your age!
