    TRT, hcg and still fertile!!

Hi guys, quick update. I've been on trt since Nov. My protocol is 200mg week, hcg 2x 250 wk and anastrozole 1mg split 2x week.
Just got great news that fiance is preggers!! I'm guessing the hcg kept the boys active

Congrats! I'm hearing this more & more. Happened to one guy I know at the gym. Another guy just raised his HCG and he too got his wife prego without having to see a fertility doc. Good stuff...

Maybe - but sperm live at least 3-4 months, so it could just be the "survivors"

    How can this be explained?
    Survivors, is that it?
Cause HCG does not mimic FSH, right?

It does contain the amino acid sequence for FSH but only exerts a mild FSH-effect (unless you use a very high dose).

I like the "Rambo sperm" idea better, though!

I say get a paternity test done ASAP. LOL

You dont want to be one of those guys 18 years down the road you find out he/she is not a blood match.

Also remember you cant say it's a boy or a girl until they are old enough to decide themselves.

    BTW congratulations.

Update, we had an almost 8lb boy. We had to do a Paternity test for birth cert, and he's 99.99% confirmed to be mine.

Congrats bud! This leaves great optimism for those (me soon) on TRT + HCG . There was a study just published about TRT + HCG and it's effects on spermatogenesis. It found no decrease in any parameters after a year!
