Oral testosterone pellets?

I went to see my endo yesterday and he mentioned the potential use of oral testosterone pellets. He said they would be placed under the gum. Anyone ever hear of this or use this particular method of testosterone delivery?

GFA what your doctor is talking about is buccal patch.

You would apply this tablet shaped patch to the upper gum every 12 hours.I also have heard of a tablet that you keep between the cheek and gum called a propionate buccal tablet.This would only last about 5 minutes in the mouth and needs to be taken like any other oral steroid you would take.

Seems pretty old school to me. You would be the only one here I have heard of taking this oraly. Would you prefer this method of administration over injections or gels?

I believe it is a troche......

Supposebly absorb really fast, but don't last very long....

From what i've read, they are not really a good option for trt.....Other than providing a boost

I've had some docs try to push them on me and said no thanks.....
