    B-12

I was getting my test shot Monday and the girl asked if I've ever had a b-12 shot. She told me that another client gets them occasionally for "energy".

Does anyone have any experience with this? I told her I was going to go to twice weekly test shots to even things out. She brought up b-12 as a possible addition.

B-12 shots are IM and three times a week, waist of money if you ask me, clinics tend to push these things to make money.

oops, sorry its once a week injection for B-12. just wanted to make the correction.

    Is your level low?

Can you absorb it orally or sublingual?

There is nothing special or unique about injected b12 for energy... compared to just having some other form of b12.

I haven't tested it my level. She just said that it gives you huge energy. I will probably try it just for the hell of it.

Anecdotally, I hear that performers get them on a regular basis - particularly if they partied too hard the night before. Not that this means shit. I always figured it was really a euphemism for some other kind of shot when I would hear that.

B12 methylcobalamin is a great product. I cycle it in every 4 months; taking 500mcg/wk. I noticed a HUGE improvement with the methylcobalamin compared to its cheaper rival, cynacobalamin, which is pretty much the main B12 being sold.

Check your levels first ... Before I had started taking any B12, I was in the 200's (low).

It's not a product that you have to take ALL the time, as mentioned, it works good cycling in with your protocol, as in my case 3x per year. I also do this with pregnenolone and DHEA, which seems to work fine.

it will give you energy if you are low... otherwise its pretty gimmicky.

I know my docs office charges like 10 bucks a shot and they no doubt get a lot from insurance. It's an easy money maker for them.

I too heard that methyl is preferred over cyano for health reasons. I never looked into it though.

heard the same regarding M over C, but unless you are low, really think this is a waste of money
