    TRT help - Dr. advice

A little history on my case before I ask some questions that maybe you guys can help me with.

Back in January my general practitioner doctor ran blood work and decided that I needed thyroid medication; no big deal. We also found out my test levels are around the 300 range, so he decided to give me a 1cc shot of cyp. Not knowing what to think, I let this happened and went on my way. The next shot was to come in a month. At the time I wasn't aware that after about 2 weeks post shot, I would crash and become zombie and have no libido. I also gained 8 lbs of FAT, even while working out. Maybe the swing up and down of my levels made me gain fat with amortization happened.

Worried something was wrong since my boys were hurting; I went to the Urologist to get checked. He ran some blood work and my test came back at 167, LH was 0.3 and FSH was 0.5... Everything was crashed. Worried that something major was wrong with me, he sent me to the Endocrinologist for more test... So they sent me to get a MRI to make sure my pituitary was ok.
Test came back and my test level was 254 and my pituitary was fine, thank god. But the Dr. tells me that having a 300 test level was normal for a man that is 36. My GP told me 300 is low, and the Urologist told me 300 is low, so what does the Endocrinologist know that they don't? Is 300 ok?
Having explained some concerns I had about my upright organ not working (no morning wood either), in simple terms he said 'deal with it, that it would come back after a few months and everything reset'.

As a man, this is very disturbing, because it has been since late Jan. since ‘he stood upright and saluted’, to be not so explicit.

My wife and I have talked, and it has really come down to this. We can’t have kids right now because all my levels are in the trash, and my man-hood not working, which I failed to mention is demoralizing. With that said, we are looking at 4 months before everything has come back to normal (which may not happen, since my normal was low to beginning with before the shot). With everything I have been in the so called ‘crashed’ stage, she has given me the half yes, half no nod to run some gear. This nod is because of the post cycle treatment information we have read about HCG and Nolv. making your system bounce back. Plus, with some test it would help me burn off some of this fat that has seemed to hit my midsection.

    Stats:
    Age: 36
    Weight: 163
    Build: Med.
    BF%: probably 11% to 15%
Lifting a few years with mix of intervals for cardio 3 x 4 time a week.

    My diet has been this for a long time now;
    Meal 1:
1 whole egg, 6 egg whites, 1/4 cup spinach, 1/2 cup oatmeal berries and stevia or 1/2 grapefruit
    Meal 2:
Protein shake ( 2 scoops) 40 grams protein , 2 rice cakes (30) carbs or 6 oz sweet potato or 1/2 cup oats
    Meal 3:
7 oz turkey, chicken, bison, beef, or fish, and 1 slice cheese whole wheat bun, lettuce, tomato, 1 red potato cut
    Meal 4:
Protein shake ( 2 scoops) 40 grams protein , sweet potato or 1/2 cup oats
    Meal 5:
4 ounces lean meat , 5 oz sweet potato and veggie

So part of my question is this; would you stay with what the doctor say’s and deal with the ED and wait it out, or would you run gear?
    My thoughts are this,
EOD pin 70mg of test prop (from others I’ve spoke with, this is the best for cutting since the short ester lets you control the levels easier) this would give me about 200mg a week
Break a 10 of Amdex in half and do it EOD as well.
Run this for 8-9 weeks and then PCT the following

Week Nolvadex HCG Aromasin Vitamin E
    1 20mgs/day 500iu/day 20mgs/day 1,000iu/day
    2 20mgs/day 500iu/day 20mgs/day 1,000iu/day
    3 20mgs/day 500iu/day 20mgs/day 1,000iu/day
    4 20mgs/day 500iu/day 20mgs/day 1,000iu/day
    5 20mgs/day

I don't think I would take "deal with it" as an answer for someone 36 years old. You test. levels may have been in the normal range, but certainly very low in the normal range. I'd think that a 300 level may be normal for an older man, but surely not for a 36 year old. Your choice is to get on real TRT and run hCG to stay "fertile", or do a good PCT routine and hope your levels bounce back.

Great diet...wish I were that disciplined. Not sure how you gained 8 lbs. of fat and I doubt that one injection did that to you.

Agreed great diet, Im jelous, need more discipline. Anyhow, the real question here (IMO) is long term???? Something is not right, your cycle seems???? fine, but what then????? Any Dr that told me to just deal with it would be fired immediately. Your levels (although normal) are shit for a 36 yr old man. You are in the prime of your life, not 80 yrs old! These Dr's just piss me off with their recommendations. If it was him, would he "just deal with it"??
My advice, find someone who understands and specializes in these area's and go from there. Giving someone "one" shot and telling them to come back for another in a month should be illegal. License should be pulled, makes absolutely NO SENSE. You are the patient, you shouldnt have to know better, your Dr is clueless.

Agreed with all the others, your 1st PC doc screwed you up with the 1 shot a month confusing the hell out of your natural test. He/she is WAY behind on the times. Shots should be done weekly or even 2x a week to maintain normal levels. 1x a month will only make things worse.

Saying deal with it I would ask him how HE would deal with it if it was him and when he lies to you look him in the eye and say BS and ask if he wants you to report him to the medical board or is he going to try to help you? Either way find a new doctor who is willing to help.

Being at the LOW end of normal is not acceptable. Ask him if he would be OK with being ALMOST dead but not quite? You dont want to just be alive but you want the quality of life back like it should be and it's his job to make it that way. You should be in the 500 range but there are still other facts that go along with it. A good doctor wont just look at the numbers but ask you how you FEEL.

Hope you can find some decent help but dont wait for them to do it, you have to do the leg work.

Problem is, with my wife and I trying to have kids, no Dr. is willing to let me inject test.

Does anyone believe that if I did 4 or 5 weeks of Nolva and HCG that it would boost my natrual levels? Sure, I'd like to be on test because it gave me great energy, but if it is going to harm the chances of having kids, I'm willing to wait I guess or try something different.

My wife is against me trying to self medicate, so it has become very difficult to find a Dr. who will try anything with me.
