How long to wait for BW when switching SHOT->GEL

To appease my endo, I will do what he wants, 2 pumps a day of androgel 1.62% for the least amount of time to see what my test levels will be without having the half life of the test cyp artificially increase the value.

My last shot was 8 days ago (last sunday).

So how long should I take androgel to get an accurate reading and be able to go right back on test shots?

Been using androgel for a few days now.

Im guessing I will have a crash since this is less than the last time I tried it on androgel 1%. After a month the last time, my test went up 50 ng/dl from baseline. I think it was 200 ng/dl to 250 ng/dl.

Semi long story. GP prescribed shots, doesnt want to treat me due to high RBC and wants me to see endo.

Endo wants me to use gel even though it doesnt work for me.

Seeing hematologist tomorrow to discuss RBC, if lucky he will treat me instead.

Without knowing your test level prior to stopping the injections it would be difficult to estimate.

As a guess, 2 weeks min., 4 weeks max.

Have you considered giving blood? Maybe double red cells to start.

I am seeing the hematologist tomorrow and was planning on donating blood this weekend. Saw a blood drive in my town. Hopefully they take my blood.

Read up on the double red ill see if I can do. Thanks for heads up.
