Testosterone Cypionate shortage

Reason for the Shortage

Paddock has testosterone on back order due to raw material shortage.
Watson could not provide a reason for their shortage.
Sandoz discontinued testosterone cypionate 200 mg/mL 1 mL and 10 mL vials in September, 2011.
Teva has temporarily discontinued their testosterone cypionate injection presentations.

I may change over to test e because the only test cyp I could get was brand name at ****** for a 10cc vial!

So last week I just picked up the brand name depo testosterone by Upjohn.And they said that it will be no problem getting this from now on who knows...

I get a generic that is ***bucks for 10 ml, and they had to order it in but had no problem doing so, small town and didn't carry the generic.

I question the shortage too. I just filled my Test Cyp script at the store with the big red target. No issues at all.

The only thing i can think of is maybe some stores have some stock built up and others did not.

Or maybe certain areas are feeling the shortage first...One thing i did notice was i always got Paddock cyp from the same place and that stopped.I asked why they changed to Watson and they told me that was the only one they could get for now.
Then I went in last week and was told they could only order me the Depo Testosterone Upjohn and i got that in 2 days for ******* bucks more..

I did call around and was hearing similar info. so i believe something is up.

Same here in Canada, there is no date fixed to when delatestryl and depo testosterone will be produced again. TBA

I thought it was determined that we COULD discuss prices as long as we were referring to legit pharmacies concerning legal prescriptions, I see some of the posts were rather vague about the sources though.

For those that pick up their test from a compounding pharmacy, is it different that test picked up from the big retail stores? I have a vial of Watsons test cyp on the shelf now but wondering if I should try to refill another vial just in case. There is a compounding pharmacy I could bring my script too thats near by. Is the price better?

Walgreens just bumped up their price some, still pretty cheap.

really?...

discussing prices from pharmacies is totally legitimate. no reason that should be censored. if you can call walmart and get a price, why can't that be talked about on one of the leading HRT forums?...

You can check the FDA web site. They put out a drug shortage up date evey morning. As of this morning Test of any kind is not on the list.Google FDA drug shortage up date and you will find it.

My local CVS couldn't get it and neither could the CVS mail order.
Not sure what is going to happen.
Sure glad I built up a surplus of it over time or I would really be hating life.

I filled script at walgreens with no problems and Costco I just filled and they say I should get on Monday.
