    Hello All

I have been on and off this board for 6 years but never really posted. For the past few years I have experienced terribly low libido, and even with perfect Diet, gym cardio I was not getting the results I should. My GP always told me if I could get an erection then there was not a problem. I had used AAS when I was in my early 20's but remembered I recovered pretty well. So recently I went to some anti aging clinic and had a full blood panel done and here is some of the results on my test levels

I am 33 6'3 226 probably around 17% bf are my stats btw

    tot test was 221
    test free was 6.31

Once they told me the price I was like why wouldnt i go through a source. Finally after doing a ton of research I found a Dr in my area that was leading the charge on low test as a disease. I brought my blood work and was told it would be covered by insurance. They wanted to give me 300 mg of cyp and see me in two weeks but I was turned off when they did not believe in HCG or Estrogen Blockers.

They also told me that while on TRT I would not be able to have children and I was like isn't that the point of running HCG. I just quickly ran through the HCG thread and it seems like others are in the same boat. Doc is prescribing test but nothing else.

The Dr also mentioned to stay away from protein shakes as a chemical found in them has adverse effects on test which I thought was a little out there.

Anyhow I am curious as to what others think of this.

Any feed back would be great

You may want to consider HCG and/or Nolvadex therapy to see if it will help before starting on TRT.

I have tried lots of things to get my test levels up.

I even ran 2 ius a day for 6 months

I am not a fan of Nolva and articles that I have read recently state its more for preventing gyno then it is for getting your test levels back

what doc was it just out of curiousity?

also... no "believing" in estrogen blockers seems odd. because it's a very common problem. you could try natural stuff like chrysin but there just isn't a lot of literature on it... probably because there is no money in it.

also, nolva/tamoxifen is the goto drug for experts to take care of immediate gyno, but it's also used to increase natural testosterone production like clomid is.

Don't write off Nolvadex so quickly. Read this from our site: http://www.steroid.com/Nolvadex.php

FSH, LH on the low side, and liver enzymes a little on the high side. are you taking any medication like pain killers, consuming alcohol, smoke? all these thing can have a major effect on your T levels. i agree with the guys, I'd give hCG and Nolva a try before going on TRT. also PSA is a tad high for your age.

I was a weekend warrior partying in nyc through my 20's. My liver enzymes have been on and off high over the past year.

I dont drink in excess anymore and I havent in a couple of years. I dont smoke or take pain killers.I started taking milk thistle recently to help.

Is asking for an hcg site like asking for a source? If so I apologize in advance

This Doc is an expert in the field? Jeez, imagine how many men are listening to this clown & following a protocol with 300 mgs of Test Cyp, no AI & no HCG . That's just criminal IMO. It may take some time, but I'm sure the OP can locate a better doc. Better off in the long run...

I really did not understand what these meant in correlation to my age.

I looked up what they are but was having a hard time understanding. I would really appreciate if you could educate me. Thanks Bass

As you age those levels will naturally decline. Basically LH/FSH signal the testies to produce testosterone /sperm among other things. They work synergistically. So, if those levels are low your T will be low as well.
