    Forum Stickies & Ideas

    I noted in the "New Member-Getting Best Responses" thread that Admin is going to make it a locked sticky. Feel free to read my recent post on the subject, and if you have an idea or comment that will help our new members, PLEASE post it up. We don't have to get micro-detailed about this stuff, but if you have a no brainer that would help all of us, then let your voice be heard ...

    On to the subject of "Stickies" and consolidation. Your voices were indeed heard and Admin is also working on this. At this point, it looks like the threads on Testosterone (Part I, II, & III) will be combined into one (1) folder, which will condense it just a bit.

    Beyond that, are there any other ideas that you have that would make that area (or this forum in general) look better or work more efficiently? Are there any other "Stickies" that need to be grouped together, or arranged differently?? All ideas welcomed!

    the grouping of the saga that u speak of is a great place to start and imo will tidy it up nicely

    Yes, it looks like the consolidation process is in motion. Notice the new sub forum shell at the top ... Plus, there might be a little bit of a revamp on the name on our street sign (Hormone Replace ment therapy, Longevity, Wellness ...) Might modify that up a bit too. If anybody has some stellar thoughts on that as well, feel free to comment. I was thinking it might just be OK with "Hormone Replace ment Therapy (HRT/TRT) & Anti-Aging/Wellness". Dunno, maybe not.

    Admin is listening if anyone has some other ideas with this makeover.

    This will probably be finished up pretty soon, so don't be shy.

    i think the "alternative medicine" isnt necessary and makes the title too long

    longevity is even a stretch

    Yes, agree, Admin had made mention of that as well, so it will probably get refined here pretty quick.

    Archy, ideas and suggestions are definitely encouraged, but your post is leaving me a bit baffled. As you noted, the links are not active, so I'm not sure which threads you might be suggesting. Reading through it though, I don't know if some of the topics will applicable to this particular forum, e.g., the thread discussing PCT's, or "The Young and Steroids", etc.

    If I'm not looking at this correctly, please let me know. I don't want to discourage you, but we want to keep the forum on topic as much as possible. Although, there will be those occasions where some off topic threads somehow find a place in this area ...

    I noticed a few different new guys not being satisfied with the answers to their questions and wanting detailed info to explain it. What I'm trying to suggest is a sticky in the New Members Forum that has links to answer and explain a lot of common questions. That way they can get a base knowledge and perhaps we can reduce answering the same questions over and over again. like a BASIC KNOWLEDGE sticky right there in the new members board

    A link to common terminology

    Your thread about how to get the best responses here

    Endocrine system explination

    what PCT is

    and links to basic nutrition.

    Arch, yes, I get a better picture of what you're trying to accomplish (more aimed at the New Member Section). Have you received any comments? Talk with Admin and see if it might have a place in the new member area. Adding a link to the rules of the board would also fit nicely in there.

    Thanks for your efforts! Maybe others will have some ideas for you as well. One can only hope that the new members coming through will just take a little time to study up before just firing off posts. If they're serious, a little time today can save a ton of time (and possible problems) down the road!

    Great, I'm glad you see what I'm talking about. It's got 200+ views (no questions) I'm not sure if anyone is actually clicking the links or blowing it off.

    I"ll keep working on it and ask some other members for their opinions and then talk to to Admin once we have something worth making a sticky.
