Glute or thigh

The doc sent me home with a 10 week supply. One of the needles is probably an inch an a half. The other half that size. I've been pinning in the thigh with the smaller needle. Does anyone feel that the glute is better than the thigh?

The thigh is easy to do it yourself and doesn't hurt at all!!! 1 inch in the thigh is good

I'm with brazilian, 1 inch to the upper outside quadrant is going to be more than long enough for most here going IM, although I am more prone to delayed tenderness to thigh than glute..

I find the thigh a lot easier and the glute painless.

1/2" needle, 0.5 CC Insulin syringe, inject SubQ (I inject into my belly fat) absolutely painless! I use 120mg of Testosterone -Cypionate weekly in 3 separate injections of 40mg each.

27 g 1in in the delts= painless and no tissue damage if you take ur time and do it right

Dr Crisler isn't too big on quad injections because of possible scar tissue and the ligaments there

Are both the needles the same gauge? When I get my meds they send 18 gauge needles to draw the test and 25 gauge 1" to 1 1/2" to inject. Hate to think you are injecting with the 18 gauge. I inject into my quad and wife does the glute shoot.

i agree, glues have almost no veins near where you inject, but the thigh! take a look,

LOL! exactly, its hard to miss. i am sure those who inject there they poke through the vein then into the muscle every now and then!

my wife uses 31-5/16 pin with 5mg T 2xweek, wish I could get away with that! [ usually in the belly button region]

how does she measure out 5mg?! What's the concentration she uses?

Just tried quad today. I had tried it several times in the past. Hurts way worse. I have more padding in the back though

My trt doc gave me the little tip of measuring off my hip bone. Tip of the thumb on my hip bone and inject around the area that my middle finger stretches to. Puts the pin right around the upper outside of the glutes. Little awkward the first time but not very difficult.
